Taylor assured us he was well qualified to do the job. During the excavation, it was obvious he was not skillful with the backhoe, cracking our cement driveway in many places and allowing a broken hydraulic line to spray fluid all over our driveway. During the digging of the foundation, it was obvious he and his helper did not know how to use a transit or a level. When the foundation blocks started cracking, he didn't seem to be concerned. When he decided to go against the mason's and our disapproval of his decision to pour the cement floor on already frozen ground with the weather report forecasting below freezing temps for the next few days, a VERY loud argument went on between Mr Taylor and his mason. Taylor won the argument with his temper. The slab froze. It flaked and cracked severely and varied between 1 and 6 inched in depth. He assumed no responsibility. We kicked him off the job site and said good buy to our $24,000. We had to hire another company to jack hammer out the floor, pour a new floor, sure up the foundation and finish the garage. He left his back hoe and job site toilet on our property until we threatened to call the police. His mason came to us a few weeks later for his pay, stating that Mr Taylor told he he didn't have money to pay him because we never paid him. The final insult is his 3 big footprints in the apron in front of the garage that we get to see every day. We kept giving this man the benefit of the doubt because he claimed to be a fellow Christian. He may be a Christian but he is not qualified to be in the construction field. Needless to say, Gary Taylor never paid us back the money he agreed to return. WATCH OUT for this man. We have pictures to substantiate everything.

It ended up taking them longer because they ran into problems that they should have foreseen. The final cost was about $1500 more than the estimate. The paint is starting to peel and bubble. They misrepresented themselves and their abilities.
