-level house. HiTech Stereo & Video installed a home theatre in the lower level of my split-level house. They hid all the equipment in a wall mounted rack in my adjacent laundry room so the only thing on the wall in my theatre is the 65" plasma TV and speakers. It is all controlled by a great RF remote. They also installed a whole-house sound system that I was able to hook an iPod (with over 5000 songs) into and can play in any room in my house. They programmed touch panels in 3 of my rooms for control. Larry Rosenkrantz (the owner) and Dave Kroll (who did most of the installation) are the best. ly enough.I can't recommend them high

Overall it went terrible. I'm still trying to get them to come finish the job. After giving them a detailed walk thru, they installed 1 of the TVs on the wrong wall, came back and fixed it after complaining and moved to correct wall and never fixed damage from incorrect installation. Boosted Wireless network by just plugging in network boosters that use my electrical wiring - this is not what I was told during my walk-thru. Used 200Mbps wireless network boosters and was told they would use 500Mbps wireless network. TV installed was 3D but 3D does not work. Called multiple times to get them to fix the 3D and they don't respond. Requested a rack for amplifier and cable box and was provided a catalogue picture that i agreed to and I also requested an extra speaker for 1 of the TVs they installed because sound was not dynamic enough - I was supposed to get a quote, but I didn't and next thing I know my credit card was charged an additional $4,000.00 without them letting me know the cost or they were going to charge my card. I still don't know how to play back the video recordings from the cameras. The new functionality was not incorporated into the home stereo system the way they said it would be. After they got partly done with the job I just never heard from them for about a month, so I called. Larry came out again and I had to walk him thru everything that was not completed. He had the crew come back out to finish the job and install the new speaker. Job is still not finished and Larry never calls to see if I'm satisfied. I've tried multiple times to call him to get the job completed correctly and I get no response and I've left messages with the woman who answers the phone. This company cares nothing about customer satisfaction.
Description of Work: Got a quote for approx. $16,000.00 to install 3 TVs with 3 wireless remotes, Boost wireless network using the existing cat5 cables installed throughout the house. Increase functionality of full-house music system, repair some outdoor cameras and install a video recorder for the cameras. When I did the walk thru with Larry I showed him some A/V wires in the basement that were installed by original owner, he told me that they would let me know what they were for. They would teach me how to use the home sound system and show me how to view the recordings from the video cameras. Finally they would install an apple external wireless hard drive because they had an apple expert on staff and connect it to 2 of my computers for automatic back-up.
