The price was reasonable and the execution was very high quality.

We used All-Trades to paint our home (a 1700s farmhouse), garage, and a small annex to the garage. After getting several quotes, we decided to use All-Trades for this job as a close friend referred them, and we were aware that their painting team was not rotating or subcontracted. This was important to us as we wanted to see the same painters on the job every day so that nothing would slip through the cracks. Ray, the owner, came to our home about 3 days before the start of the job when we suggested that we were still deciding on colors. He spent about an hour with us discussing options and coming to a conclusion on paint. The work started and lasted about 3.5 to 4 weeks -- which included about a week and a half of home repair, siding work. While this may seem longer than other painters, we didn't want "fast" work. We wanted things to be done right. Thus, the first week and a half, they removed old wood and cleaned up any problem areas on the home, garage, and annex. The next 2-3 weeks were spent painting. Having a skilled construction contractor on hand to fix the aforesaid problem areas was perfect as many of the other painting companies we spoke to did not have someone on hand. They said they could refer us to a handy man or refer us to someone with whom we could contract, but most of them didn't have someone with home they worked regularly. All-Trades did, and he worked with us to fix any problem areas before painting began. When construction clean-up was done, and the house was washed, painting began. The painting crew showed up on time, were very careful with their work, and were a very nice team of guys. When we made small changes, they accommodated the changes via change order. One painter, Jesse, was in charge of the whole project from start to finish, and this kept things very much in order. The team worked hard, did absolutely beautiful work, and were friendly in the process. They also cleaned up at the end of each day, and fixed any mistakes as soon as we (or they) noticed them as, of course, sometimes things occur. Bottom line: Very good team. We enjoyed having them at our home, and we would definitely hire them again. After interviewing several groups, we were extremely happy with our choice, and we will definitely use All-Trades again on painting, or other, projects. We definitely felt that they take pride in their work and care about their customers.

I guess the company is entitled to set their own policy but all of their competitors give free estimates on site. I am not sure how someone could give an accurate estimate based on photos.

Nice product but pricey. I liked that they provided insurance for it and they had all their own employees; they did not sub contract out.

The experience was great. I got them from Angie's List. They were friendly. They were no complaints. Everything was fine. It was a positive experience. They were very professional and very personable. It was just what I was looking for. It was a reasonable quote.

Ray contacted me immediately and was able to come out to give me a quote that same week. I found him helpful and accommodating as this is my first house and I am a little inexperienced. He gave me a flat rate for the wallpaper removal (as opposed to the other contractors I got quotes from, they gave me hourly rates which I was uncomfortable with). Miguel the painter was efficient, punctual and pleasant. At one point however I was somewhat concerned when the job was almost finished and I felt like there were a lot of spots that needed touching up. I had mentioned to him that I wanted nice, sharp lines with the paint and I felt they could have been better. I called up Ray and within the hour he was at my house pointing out spots that he wasnt happy with. At one point, I had the painter on a ladder with a makeup brush touching up a spot! The job took longer then expected however, I was very pleased with how it came. The price was about in the same range as others who gave me a quote, the only difference was, he didn't charge hourly for the wallpaper. For those of you who have wallpaper and need it removed, I would definately recomeend ATL. Once the initial wallpaper was removed from my kitchen, suprise!, more wallpaper was underneath! The wallpaper took almost 8 hours to remove and had I been paying hourly for that, I would have spent much more then I budgeted for.

They were very professional. The presentation was nice; it was just a little bit more than we were looking to spend.

I had them come out and estimate the project. I contacted them to do the work and was contacted with in 5 business days. They made picking out my materials pretty painless and easy. Since I Told them my budget was very tight, they showed me the more standard granite colors, and faucets which fit in with my simple classic home. I wanted neutral toned and since they had a lot of granites that were in the lower price levels, I was able to choose something pretty with guidance. My paints colors were picked out with me which gave me the 'pop' I wanted. I felt that I was listened to and given great advise to beautify my home. They were able to schedule the work pretty seamlessly from start to finish. Having renovations done in ones home is hard but wit this company I felt they made things as painless as possible, and tried to make sure everything was done to my liking.
