+ -1 moreIt went better than expected. Mr. McGettigan's appraisal was accepted. Sadly our house lost value due to the 2008 economic decline and Hurricane Sandy which lowered the property values of many in our city. Happily, our tax burden has decreased by 1/3.
Description of Work: Mr. McGettigan performed an appraisal for our home, finding appropriate comparables, and provided guidance as we appealed our tax assessment.

+ -1 moreFrom start to finish this was a job well done.
Description of Work: Gerry McGettigan did an appraisal for me in regards to a property tax protest I filed. His work was timely, detailed and professional. His efforts resulted in a significantly lower appraisal and a large reduction in my property tax.
