The service was excellent. I used their service 3 times already and I would hire them again next month. The price was fair. They were prompt, fair, neat, and they clean up after themselves. I was impressed with their work.

Eric did an excellent job, made good and practical suggestions and helped with a number of projects. Will definitely have him do more work.

I contacted Evan Jones Master Electrician as I had several electrical projects in my house that I needed an estimate for. Evan did come out and I spent about an hour with him going through all the projects and what they entail. He did not seem to have recommendations for some of the projects and said "he'd have to think about it and get back to me," which was fine. He did not give me any idea of pricing and I had to ask him what the next step would be and he said I'd be contacted by his office. During the course of a week after he came to my house, I called his office twice and left messages and also emails and got zero responses! So having him come to my house was a total waste of my time and the fact that his office was unresponsive is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Therefore, I cannot recommend Evan Jones Master Electrician as it would be a waste of time to go through them. I'm not sure who gave him high ratings with other reviews, perhaps friends or family members? I hope for his sake that he's okay and didn't get ill, but with other electricians working for him and with an office manager named Leia that scheduled the initial call, I don't think there are any excuses for being unresponsive. I would recommend going with another electrician and not wasting your time with this one.

I called three electricians, and Evan Jones was the only one to return my call that same day. He came by around 5 PM, after he completed the job he was already working on that day. He determined that I had lost power on one line into the house. He said I would have to call the power company, and he would have get on the phone with them to explain the problem. As we were on the phone the power came back. My electric lines are underground, so the power company would have to replace the underground wires. To make a long story short, I had two more power incidents, the power company ran new lines above ground to the house, and I'm now scheduled for underground replacement. Without Evan Jones' timely help who knows where my electric power situation would be today.

Even though he had to come back, he figured out the real problem.

we negotiated the price over the phone .. $130 He arrived on time and ready to work. We reviewed job detail including a temperature switch and an extra outlet. I did NOT go in the attic as it is difficult at my age and he seemed very professional. He got power pulled from a nearby source. Weeks later, my electric bill was higher than expected and the fan never seemed to shut off. I recall him saying that he added an on/off switch which I had not asked for. It got me thinking ... why did he say that? I went up into the attic and looked up to see if I could see a temperature control? It was not observable. Curious, I noticed right at my feet, an cardboard sheet shaped exactly like it held a fan. Over that, but smaller, was a green furnace filter. Wondering why that was there, I looked under the filter and there was the temperature on/off switch. It took me 15 seconds to figure it out. He dad to walk right next to it or step over it to get to the fan. How could he have overlooked the switch and not communicated that he could not find it? Now I understand why he installed an on/off switch I did not ask for. i wrote him that this needed to be corrected and he never wrote back or called. That is not professional. I think a master electrician ought to know if a part is missing, ask the customer and look at his feet to see if it is not in the only possible location.

Evan Jones Master Electrician and his team are phenomenal!! From the moment I met Evan I knew I had a winner! I bought a new home & wanted an electrical quote before closing. We had to work around the Realtor's schedule to get into the house and Evan was able to schedule the meeting accommodating my schedule & the Realtor's schedule. He provided a quote quickly. My closing date changed twice, so it was difficult for me to secure an install date before the closing. Once I closed on my new home, Evan was able to schedule the install date promptly. Evan & his team were at my home first thing in the morning. Evan pulled the necessary permits & communicated with the electric company. If you need electrical work, do not hesitate. Called Evan based on the reviews here. I was worried that I had a short in one of my electrical lines. Evan answered my called, provided some quick feedback, asked some questions and gave me an estimate. After seeing the photos I sent to him, he followed up with a call to verify the issue and set a time to come over....the same afternoon. We set a time of 4pm and at about 3:55pm he texted that he would arrive by 4:20pm. Much appreciated knowing you were running late, as so many people do not provide that simple courtesy. Upon arrival and with a quick inspection, my issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. Evan was personable and friendly. Cost of work was as quoted. Would recommend and will use again in the future.

I called Evan and described what I needed done and he gave me an estimate of $300.00 over the phone and when he actually finished the job he only charge $250.00.

The job was executed perfectly to our satisfaction. From the first time Evan Jones came to our house for the initial investigation until the electricians put their tools in the truck the last time we knew we were in competent and professional hands. Evan's estimate of time and materials was excellent (the work was actullay done under the estimated budget). The two electricians that did the actual work were very professional and worked diligently and steadily for the days they were in our house. The work is neat and thorough. The work they accomplished in the time that it took is a good indication of their knowledge and skills. They answered all questions when asked and explained what they were doing if needed. We felt very comfortable with them in our house if we there or not. Evan stayed in close communication with his electricians and with us so everybody was "on the same page". Evan presented the bill in person and went through what had transpired. He also had our town building inspector review the work to ensure satisfaction on that end. The inspector was very satisfied with the work. I can't say enough about Evan Jones and his electricians. We expect to use them solely for future electrical needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality electrical work regardless of the size of the job.

Evan came out the week before to do an estimate at a time that was convenient for me. I ordered the light fixtures and he purchased the remainder of the parts. We scheduled an appointment for the following week to allow time for the light fixtures to be delivered. Evan and his apprentice arrived on time and worked steadily for about three hours. I found them to be knowledgeable, polite and I was very happy with their work.

Evan was fantastic!!! Arrived on time and had the job done in no time at all. Very professional and prompt communication. Will definitely use again!

Contacting and setting up appointment with Evan was easy. He understood the project and provided us rough estimate on the spot which clearly showed he is confident and knows his profession very well. Both Evan and his guys were punctual and super-fast in organizing and carrying-out the work. We are very happy with their work and will highly recommend them.

Even's team was friendly and very polite! They arrived on time and didn't mind navigating around my two very busy toddlers, who on more then one occasion asked them questions or to "watch a trick". I was very pleased with the excellent work and the way that they cleaned up when they were finished! I will be using Evan Jones Master Electrician again in the future!

It went better than expected. They showed up on time. They were neat and they were working the entire time rhey were here.

I called about a problem I was having with a my circuit breaker box. He was in the middle of a job, and so, understandably, he asked if he could call me back. He did call back within a half an hour. After I described the problem to him, he asked if he could walk me through a simple test over the phone. When I did what he described, the problem was solved! He could easily have come in and charged me $100, and I wouldn't have known the difference. That is real honesty. I would definitely call him again.

They were prompt and professional on arrival. Scope of the job was understood immediately and any clarifications were discussed. The work was completed timely and with no intrusions on my activities. This job was smaller and was rejected by several other electritians. I saw on Angie's that Evan handled both small and large jobs. They were happy to take this one on. I will call them again for any kind of future work.

I discovered on a Sunday that a set of electrical outlets that had worked on Saturday were no longer working. I did a bit of diagnosis and discovered that while the hot lead was connected, the neutral wasn't, but I wasn't able to figure out why that might be. I sent Evan a message on Monday and Tuesday morning he contacted me and said he could come by in the afternoon. He showed up exactly on time and quickly identified and repaired the problem (a loose wire in an outlet I didn't even think was on that circuit!) He was friendly and professional and his fee was entirely reasonable. Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Evan Jones and hope to use his services again in the future.
