The owner of the house was unhappy with the service.. I called the company and was treated horrible on the phone.. the woman said that she was the owner of the business.. she was rude and disrespectful.. I wanted them to come back and do it again.. but now after the conversation we will not be using this business again

They arrived promptly, cleaned my stone and flue as well as the chimney and did an inspection and pointed out a few issues. I’m looking forward to seeing what else they do.

they did show up to look at my chimney i wanted removed but never called back or showed up with a price so not all jobs are worth there time will not call or recommend them to anyone that i speak to due to lack of follow up

They were very promp, professional, and clean. They kept everything inline with my tight budget that I had constrained them to, and did a great job. Will definitely have them back again when needed.

I've been asked to write a review on Fire and Stone, for their chimney sweeping service. Unfortunately it did not go well. We chose this company because they had performed a chimney repair earlier; that went fine and was why we chose them to return for the sweep and maintenance. I made an appointment for them to come by and perform said service. I took the entire afternoon off from work and waited for them to not show up. When I called to see if they planned on showing up, I was told they were not due to a and quot;scheduling overloadand quot;. No apology given. Asked why we were never called to be informed and to re-schedule, the frazzled and distracted associate told me that calls had been made to other customers and that he didn't know why we weren't contacted. (Still no apology.) When I explained the inconvenience of the situation, I finally got a very half-hearted apology and was told that the owner, Angelo, would contact us to straighten it all out. Still waiting to hear back, almost a year later- although at this point we have taken our business elsewhere to a local person who shows up when he's supposed to, to do the job right- or at least call if he is going to be late.

These guys know what they are doing and they do it well. Plus they left the work site spotless.

I called and made an appointment for a estimate. I spoke to the owners wife and then the owner. who came to my house while I wasn't there to look at the job. I called to get the estimate at which time we spoke about the job for a couple of minutes on the phone. I was promised a detailed estimate via an email in 1-2 days. I week went by without a response so I called again and got an apology and promise of and quot;I'll do it tonightand quot;. Nothing for another week, another call, another failed promise. I made one final call and got but another promise that wasn't fulfilled. This and quot;contractorand quot; doesn't do what he says he will,. I would never trust him to complete a job or come back to warranty any work. totally unreliable! BTW my home is less than 15 minutes from his office. DON'T USE THIS CONTRACTOR!

Their assessment was very detailed, including even design characteristics that do not meet current code. Provided sound advicem options for providing some heat in the workspace in my barn, which advice will benefit a propane provider and not a wood stove/pellet stove provider such as they are. Safety and value were high priorities and they told me that if I were to choose a certain heating product and opted not to buy it from them, I should go to one of their competitors rather than one of the big box suppliers.
