Description of Work: Jesse did look at the minor repairs I needed done. He said he would send me an estimate by email,but hasn't done so yet. It's been a month or so.I can't grade his work because he hasn't done anything.

Description of Work: He's a nice guy, but much he did had to be redone. An $1100 porch repair that looked good proved otherwise; the floor buckled within less than a year. When he installed a window,he mangled my siding. On his last visit, he installed a door that was way too short (I had to hire someone else to do it right). It's not such a big deal, but he didn't install all the screws on the door. There was more to do, but I never heard from him again. That speaks volumes.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon for handy man service and emailed the provider. He responded and said he was surprised because he did not know his coupon was sill up on Angie's List. (It had not expired) He said he would honor the coupon if I resided within his service area. He then sent me an email saying I was not located in his service area, and that this has happened before, with people from Boston area contacting him even though he doesn't serve this area. I think this is bad form on your part. He was very polite and responsive. I have no complaints about him.

Jesse showed up every day when he said he would; he never stopped working (except for lunch), he would go from one job on the list to another without wasting any time, and he completed the work in a timely manner. Not only is his work very good, but he is committed to meeting the deadlines he agrees to. I found working with Jesse very refreshing. So many contractors tell you one thing and do something different, or do it on a different time schedule. So many don't show up ready to work in the morning. Jesse does. He was accommodating to our numerous requests for changes or add-ons to our original list. Jesse documented all of the changes and gave us an itemized invoice. He was always respectful and pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone. Our house sold in 5 days and my daughter's house, where Jesse did much more renovating, sold in 1 day. If you want a very pleasant experience from start to finish, I would recommend Jesse be hired.
Description of Work: Services performed included drywall patching, sanding and painting from the top floor to the basement; updating bathroom with new vanity, sink, faucets and light fixture; updating bathroom walls and installing new vinyl tile strip flooring; replacing door bells; prep and painting covers to forced hot water heating pipes; totally replace frame and door leading to deck and repair all rot; replaced screen in storm door; removed old thermostat and repaired wall.
