He came when he said he would got the footings in first day, covered with concrete blankets, stripped next morning got the walls built and poured the following day. Even knocked the snots off for me! Will plan on using Matt for all future concrete work and highly recommend him. Thanks Matt!"

Concrete Concepts & Design is a fully insured company that specializes in decorative concrete finishes such as: • Decorative Pool Surrounds/Patios • Stamped Concrete • Brushed Concrete • Colored/Stained Concrete • Exposed Aggregate • Firepits/Sitting Walls We have been featured by A.H. Harris for our ability to create custom concrete structures on site all while keeping our customers vision and expectations at the forefront. Our customers have voted us the number one concrete company for Customer Service and Satisfaction in our area for the past two years, something we take great pride in. Our goal is to take a concept, create a unique design and execute with superior precision. This is how we have earned our reputation. Our Reputation Is Concrete.

"The project went well for the most part. After a year and a half later we’re still waiting for the job to be completed. The edging around the pool is below expectations. But the main issue is the cap for the sump pump drain located in the middle of the concrete that needs to be finished. At the time, the part was out of stock. It was in stock the very next week and he was supposed to come back and finish. 1-1/2 years later, consistently telling us he will be out to finish, still refuses to address his commitment. We’ve waited a long time to ensure we gave a small business the benefit of the doubt regarding every excuse he has given us. Recently he has said that the cap is poured and it’s ready to be done, scheduled a date and that date came and went, again. At this point, it is appropriate to convey to others our experience. It’s been one heartache after another dealing with this company."

What mood do you want to create? Chromotherapy has been used in ancient civilizations and is still used as a holistic or alternative treatment to affect mood. While "blood" red was considered a "fright or flight" evoking color or symbol of power, home in a thatched shelter of green palm fronds and having some protection from the lush green background vegetation, there was generally peace and relaxation. Colors affect the mood of the people in the room, but they also need to reflect the style and personality of the people that reside there and are truly a personal choice. Whether straight painting or special decorative projects, I can create an environment of energy or relaxation for the ways you view your world.

Decorative concrete services FAQs

No, stamped concrete is extremely durable and relatively easy to maintain. To keep your stamped concrete clean and help prevent staining, you should sweep any debris off it regularly, like you would with any other hard outdoor surface. You should also plan on resealing the concrete about every four years, which is about the same timeline you’d expect from pavers and natural stones.

The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.

Adding a stamped concrete patio is an affordable way to bring some elegance into your backyard entertaining area, which could add to your home’s value. Provided your stamped concrete patio is installed by a local stamped concrete professional, the patio should last for 40 years or more, and prospective buyers will likely recognize value in that longevity. Keep in mind that permanent patios like concrete slabs will likely raise property taxes, but the added value is usually well worth the investment.

Many concrete companies that handle installing concrete slabs or standard concrete patios can also install stamped concrete, but you can also hire a company that specializes in stamped concrete. These textured concrete surfaces take some finesse to get right, and choosing a company that concentrates on stamped concrete patios and walkways is a good way to ensure the finished product looks top-notch. Additionally, specialists in stamped concrete will likely have more texture options that suit your preferences, like riverstone, sandstone, yorkstone, and cobblestone.

It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
