DEBBIE DOES DIVANS

It went very well. We went over to Debbie's studio to select fabric. She provided recommendations, which were very helpful. She and her husband picked up the sofa from our house and delivered it at the agreed time, approximately six weeks later. The work performed was of the highest quality and exceeded our expectations. Debbie kept us informed about the progress via email. She discovered part of the original fabric and emailed us pictures. She also discussed with us her ideas about the sofa's provenance and age based on the features of the original upholstery and type of strings used. The sofa had two missing decorative pieces. Debbie recommended a local specialized woodworker and coordinated services with him. After six weeks, Debbie delivered the finished sofa and discussed in detail the work she had performed and restorative choices she had made based on the age of the sofa. Her knowledge about antique sofas is impressive and has increased our appreciation for the craftsmanship that had gone into the original manufacturing process. Debbie's pricing is commensurate with the level of service that Debbie provided. In our opinion, this has been a worthwhile investment and we throughly enjoy our reupholstered and rebuilt antique sofa.
