He is an excellent realtor, very thourough, very accomodating and trust him with our properties. He also keeps us current on the market.

Patrick Carey was rude on several occasions when we were politely trying to correct the mistakes that we felt had been made. He did not discuss with us the brochure, which could have prevented the problems with that element. We had discussed some specifics about marketing the property, which he later ignored and contradicted with his actual marketing techniques. When we expressed our disapproval of the brochure, he agreed to have a professional photographer take some pictures. The photographer never materialized. We were finally advised by other Realtors to have the contract dissolved. We were told that is a fairly standard practice. When we asked Mr. Carey to do that, he was extremely rude once again. He spoke insultingly on the phone and then hung up on us. He said he would send the paperwork associated with opting out of the contract, but he never did send it. We had to pick it up in person three and a half weeks after he had drawn it up. He HAS STILL NOT RETURNED OUR KEYS, which he has been claiming for too long are "in the mail". His office is in the next town over, one day by mail. We now understand why other people in the business were surprised and disappointed to hear that we had listed with Carey & Giampa.
