every thing looked good when they left.. over the next months and years the retaining walls started to lean.. brick walk way had to be redone.. sunk in . had to install another step.. MCL insisted that 6 steps was right.. i really wanted 7 steps.. w only 6 steps there was an incline in the walkway that make is very dangerous in the winter time when there was any slipery conditions. the rain coming down the steps is washing out the stone dust around the steps. i contacted ideal stone ( retaining block company) . they came and reviewed the installation.. concluded that they installed in correctly.. did not put proper drainage on the bottom of the wall and did not put in retaining grid at the 4 foot line. i contacted MCL.. he insisted he did a proper install.. said he would not fix it.. was willing to drill a steel bar into the wall in hopes it would contain further leaning. I told him that made no sense.. he left in a huff and never came back.. Wall is not about 2 inches off plumb will probably fall down in a couple of years.. BTW.. roof work he is leaked and windows were not properly insulated that he put in.. feels like the windows are open in the winter. See BBB rate of F
