We first met with Steve Amundsen in June of this year to discuss building a small modular home. At this point we had met with at least 5 builders and were overwhelmed and confused by the whole process. Steve took the time to discuss the entire project from start to finish and answered all the questions we had. He also invited us to walk though a current home he was finishing so we could visualize the whole process better. We knew at this point that Steve takes great pride in what he does and is very knowledgeable regarding modular homes. We also attended a open house with Steve at the factory in Claremont, N.H. where New England Homes are built. We felt pretty secure in our new found knowledge, finally comfortable with a builder and put our project into motion. It took a few months to get everything we needed to get to the point of building, Steve stayed in touch with us and made himself available to answer any further questions we had. We never felt pressure to sign contracts or given any deadlines. We are now in the middle of the home building process and we know that Steve is only a phone call or email away at all times and is prompt with his responses. Steve has never made us feel that are questions are silly or any requests are unreasonable. He also has taken care of all the paperwork from state approvals to building permits. The toughest thing for us so far has been deciding on what color to make the siding. This whole project has been very exciting and fun for our family and we feel that Steve has made that possible for us. Steve has told us that he wants us to be completely happy with our new home and we know that he is sincere with that statement. We have been in our home since February. The project was completed on time and we are extremely pleased with the result. We are more than confident in our recommendation of The Amundsen Companies.
