There were several delays. Contractor and one worker were seldom on time for work. Contractor left single worker to do dangerous work alone. On several occasions I left the need to help because the job was more then one person could handle.[ I would like to add I'm a petite female 5'1] My attic was left open to the elements for over two weeks. I was told by worker & contractor that there were bats in my attic. Which I had never had a problem prior to them leaving the attic open. Now I have a rodent roaming in my home at night. The poor coordination and communications between the worker , contractor, and myself cause me a great deal of stress. They would leave without giving any notice only to appear several hours later unannounced. Poor workmen ship caused a severe water leak that leaked inside the area of my home that had not had a problem before. I was given the excuse that "this happens it's not the end of the world." Well the additional stress caused by this damage it of great concern to me and I feel Mr. Mac Leod attitude is some what cavalier. On another occasion the worker said the ladder slipped and smashed one of my windows. Which has yet to be replaced. Mr. Mac Leod reminded me on several occasions that he was a contractor and not a worker. It took several weeks before the demolishing material was removed from my property, which I removed half of it on my own. It was unsightly mess. There is till more left to be removed. I would not recommend this company to do any small jobs because they are not reliable or professional by no means. Worker smoked and left nasty cigarettes buts everywhere on one occasion it caught some saw dust on fire while they were at lunch. I don't smoke so I know who did it! I put the fire out myself. I also believe the workers were urinating by the side of the new addition. NICE! If this is how he handles a small job I wouldn't want him doing a big job! The continual stress severely affected my health. I told the contractor this was very stressful and asked him to comply with some of my request but he did not.
Description of Work: Two story addition to be constructed rough framed on existing home. I was told this was a small job.
