About us

Green Lightning Energy was founded by Jason Plant and Kadin Burns when both of their mothers received excessively expensive estimates from large name-brand solar providers. Our parents wanted the financial advantages and the positive environmental impact that solar energy held, but artificially high prices prevented them from accessing that value. We believed that we could get them a better deal by offering the same high quality solutions, at reasonable prices. We were right, and now, we offer that same value to every homeowner we serve. Some details about our company: - The entire purpose of our company is to make solar affordable for homeowners - We always charge $5,000 to $20,000 (10-40%) less than other installers for identical systems - We offer a 25-year manufacturer warranty on your solar panels and financing through our partner - We give free estimates and speedy responses! - We work with a team of 3-4 licensed electricians who have completed hundreds of installations

Extremely well. They were able to fit our project in before winter, which we really appreciated. They were also able to do it for thousands of dollars less than other companies using the same exact equipment because of their lower overhead They were wonderful to work with, and it was really great to support people who truly believe in what they’re doing
