When we moved into the house, there were sliding doors out onto the back deck that barely opened. Not wanting to fight every time we wanted to go onto the deck, and for aesthetic reasons, we decided to replace them with French doors. Pete had a couple of his guys take out and replace the sliding door with the French doors he had ordered for us. While replacing the sliders, the guys found a good amount of rot and water damage to the side of the house. They took the time to make sure they got all of the rot and find the cause of it before putting the door back on. After resealing and installing some new siding, they completed the project with A+ quality and craftsmanship.

We hired Pete and his crew for a kitchen and dining room renovation makeover. In order to get the open concept we were looking for, there was a wall that needed to be opened up. It was just our luck that it was a supporting wall and this process would be a little more complex than we had originally thought. Once again, Pete came to the rescue. Through lots of math, he designed a beam that would support the weight of the house, but also allow for the open concept layout we were hoping for. The installation of the beam was completed in 3 parts to ensure that the structure of the house was not jeopardized while the old beam was replaced with the new beam. Pete was very thorough in his explanation of the process and why things were designed and done the way he planned. He always checked to make sure we had no questions and were comfortable with the process and why he was doing it that way. Never did I feel as though I couldn’t ask Pete a question, and he was very communicative throughout the whole process.

With the many projects we had completed by Pete, there were many opportunities for demo to be done. Each time, Pete sent over someone promptly and the job was done quickly. Debris was always cleaned up and put in the dumpster immediately. A few times, Pete sent over guys to rearrange the dumpster to ensure that there would be enough space for the remainder of the project needs.

We had Pete and his guys install a fire door in the garage to replace the existing door that did not meet code. Pete?s guys came over and measured, ordered, and installed the door up to code. The door looks and works great!

Prior to putting in an HVAC system, we required some work to be done in order to facilitate an easy installation. Having Pete and his guys already doing some work around the house, we decided to call him last minute and see if he could do some demo and pour a cement pad for us. Pete was quick to rearrange some things to be sure he could get someone there to do the job. He was always willing to bend over backwards to make sure we were happy and had what we needed no matter what the project, and that is one of the reasons we loved working with Pete. Many people will say “The customer always comes first” but with Pete, this statement couldn’t be truer. Pete’s demolition guy (who also poured the cement pad) was nothing but professional and accommodating. He showed up on time (early in fact if I remember correctly) and worked until the job was completed. Being somewhat of an undefined demo ask (the other vendor was a little unsure of how he wanted to install the system), Pete’s guy guided us in asking all the right questions to make sure we knew exactly what needed to be pulled up or knocked down to make room for the system while minimizing the amount of destruction.

Pete has been a superlative professional! I am so impressed with how he conducts himself with prompt feedback, creative ideas and genuine enthusiasm for his craft that I felt compelled to write a review- even before the work is done! Pete is a very practical sounding board for ideas. I could tell immediately that I didn't have to guard myself against a 'hard salesman'. He gave his opinion about what would be necessary and how he could save us money without compromising an excellent outcome. Like I said, we haven't even gotten a completed product yet- but I'm looking forward to posting an updated review. :-) Note: This review didn't get posted earlier because I must have forgotten a step. :-) See update below... Update: I wish I could give Pete and his crew a "constellation" of stars (way more that 5 star quality). :-) He and his guys have been fantastic!!! The project we were doing was for a wish organization...and Pete spent time working to help to get things donated!!!!! He is such a generous and genuine guy! We struck gold with this find!!! The basement is looking terrific!!! We will definitely be bringing him back!
