Pellerin Vinyl Siding

Pellerin replaced our old faded aluminum siding, single pane windows, and steel door with new CertainTeed vinyl siding, insulation board, trim, shutters, column warps, Paradigm windows, and a Therma-Tru Fiberglass door. From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for better! We explained what we wanted to do and our budget and Ken showed us our options and explained the materials that they used and recommended. The installation took a bit longer than expected due to bad weather and the fact that the new picture window for the living room arrived with some knicks on the trim, which meant a replacement had to be made. Other than that, the crew was top notch and professional. They did their best to work around my wife?s schedule because she works from home most days. These guys were really committed to doing the job and doing it right. One thing I really appreciated: Our kitchen already had newer windows and a patio door installed by the previous owner, I was concerned that the existing wood trim around these would stand out against the aluminum trim that was being installed around the replacement windows (not to mention the eventually scrapping and re-painting I?d half to do), but John, the site foreman, assured us that they were going to trim those in to match the rest of the house. ?When we?re done, I don?t want you to have to worry about doing ANY painting whatsoever!? is how he put it. I cannot thank Pellerin enough for the job they did. I used to cringe when I?d drive up to our place because it looked so shabby, but now, it?s like having a whole new place!

Very pleasant experience. ken is not hard sell at all, just presents the product and lets it stand for itself. They have samples of their product (Paradigm) and Harvey. No comparisson, Paradigm is the much better window. The installers were very nice and even came back promptly to extra caulk some windows at our requsest. This was not an installation problem; the house is poorly built. They installed 20 windows in 2 days in winter! I was home almost the whole time and never felt cold.

Contractor very easy to deal with. Knows there products and very up front about what can and can't be done. Job sent as expected and on-time. Very clean on job site.

Simply put....These guys were the best! We had many contractors at our home and none compared to the level of professionalism and personal nature of this crew. Small family owned and operated and it shows...your not just another job. They showed up on time, left at reasonable hour after throughly cleaning site and were done before we/they expected.

We went to the shop in Salem, NH to meet with Ken and I was thinking we would get a song and a dance while he lifted our wallets out of our pockets. Sadly, this is often the sterotype of speciality contractors. We left being impressed with Ken's knowledge of the products he sells as well as the lack of high pressure and quot;sign now and we'll add in a free toasterand quot;. He seemed to be a guy with integrity and had a lot of pride in his business and how it is run. Well as you see, we hired Pellerin to do our roof and siding. These guys were great! The owners and the crews were just great. The roofing guys were fast - without being sloppy or careless. Had a mystery leak coming in from the chimney we could never find - the new roof and extra attention paid to the surround areas of the chimney have fixed the leak. Very high quality work! The siding crew was super amazing! Tommy is just amazing at wrapping the windows and doors to make it look like we actually have large picture-type framing/casing. Most siding has thin little strips around the windows/doors and looks a bit off but ours looks GREAT. Tommy and Brandon (and some others who came a few times to help out) did such a great job and the work is top quality - totally happy and pleased with the job!

Overall, it turned out very well. They are a really good company. They really specialize in exterior work, there were a few cases when they had to do interior work and they are not quite as adept at that as someone who does specialize in interior work. We had to ask them to redo a couple things inside, which they did. When adding things to the project, it seemed that their prices were higher for additional work than what we had expected based on the costs of the original work. However, in terms of the quality of their exterior work, it was excellent. They are really nice people to work with and they are a small family business. It is a lot more comfortable working with them than working with either a big box company or a fly-by-night company. We liked the fact that they have an office that you can go to with samples of their windows, siding and doors that you can look at, move and evaluate. We really liked working with them.
