We worked with Jennifer, from Salem NH location on a custom brand new kitchen and bathroom vanities design and installation. Jennifer was so helpful during the entire process and the kitchen and the vanities came out absolutely beautiful. She really took care of us all the way from initial consult, through the design and installation phases. She is very thoughtful, careful, detailed oriented and had many great suggestions. I highly recommend Norfolk Kitchen and Bath!

The overall price quoted above was for labor and material (including Cambria counters provided by another local company). At the recommendation of our Norfolk kitchen design consultant (Maryann), and after consulting with previous customers of her recommended contractor (Francis Hebb Construction, Boxford, MA), we hired him to to do the work. Work commenced in early March, 2016, and was completed on/about end of June, 2016, and consisted of a nearly completely gut/rebuilding of our kitchen space, including electrical, plumbing, painting, floor (including an adjoining hall and foyer floor), ceiling, walls, removal of existing closet space, closing off a study entry, and another smaller closet, and expanding an adjacent hallway closet to re-utilize that space. Additionally, the original tile floor floor was stripped to the subfloor in all project areas. I should note that we had originally planned to use another cabinet company out of Nashua that we had been consulting with, but who came in WAY overpriced for this exact same project ($160,000 initially projected, and you know that's only a starting point). After redoing electric and plumbing, walls and ceilings were redone before cabinets were then installed. The detail work done by the finish carpenter was METICULOUS and time consuming (which added to the project completion time), but I'll take that over faster non -quality work any day. Additionally, there was some minor additional repair work needing to be completed which added to the scope of the project (small amount of moisture at the rear door), a bay window that needed to be re-levelled, and plywood sheathing repair at the front entry due to previous (but long repaired) water damage, but minor in cost. The tile contractor did a great job with our foyer/hall/kitchen floor and backsplash. The cabinets from Norfolk Kitchen, are all soft-closing, detailed, sturdy, quality grade, American made cabinets with dentil crown, and fluting throughout as we weren't inclined to settle for anything less than the best. The tile floor consists of 12X24 tile in the hall/foyer area, and faux wood tile in the kitchen area (total floor space ~ 600 sq ft). The finished space consists of a sit down/mudroom space, pantries, floor to ceiling wet bar, 5' buffet, 5' island, appliance cabinet, and counter height kitchen table. Appliances are all stainless steel JennAir appliances including built-in oven, induction cooktop, microwave drawer, counter-depth side by side refrigerator, and dishwasher and trash compactor with cabinet faces. All counter space is Cambria (192 linear feet), and the backslash is subway tile with accent pieces throughout. All in all, we wanted and had it all! As pictures tell a thousand words, please be sure to view the finely finished project pictures attached to this review.
Description of Work: Norfolk Kitchen and Bath provided cabinets, and refined (corrected) design plans we had paid for from another overpriced cabinet company.

Excellent! This was a big undertaking, however, Jennifer Charbonneau, our Norfolk Kitchen consultant, made all the difference! Also, Norfolk Kitchen and Bath cabinets are of great quality and they are affordable.....two things we searched for before deciding on a company to do our remodel. Truly, we have been so impressed with Jennifer and Norfolk Kitchen and would highly recommend both of them!! From our first visit to our last, she made all the difference in our kitchen remodel. It is because of her kind, knowledgeable, happy, and patient personality that we went with Norfolk Kitchen, as well as the affordable prices and the quality of their cabinets! Jennifer always listened to our needs and concerns, our wish list, we never felt pressured, and we were always grateful for her expert advice and confidence in our remodel. We so appreciate her dedication to us, always there when we called and she took care of every concern/problem right away. Norfolk Kitchen is a quality company with quality employees who are there for their clients from beginning to end. I absolutely LOVE the ease of our kitchen now; everything at my fingertips, everything has a place (all within my reach now), and just so lovely! There are a few cabinet doors that are so close they touch if you open one when the other is open, and that was upsetting at first, but the overall kitchen design is beautiful and of great ease!! Everyone we came in contact with at Norfolk were polite, kind and dedicated; wow, all so impressive and we are so very grateful this project is over and that we chose Norfolk Kitchen and Bath of Salem, NH!
Description of Work: Designed and coordinated the remodel of our kitchen cabinets and counter top. The design appointment was free! We had to find our own plumbers and electricians and coordinate those workers as Norfolk does not do that. With that said, Jennifer Charbonneau, our Norfolk consultant, was a wonderful guide as she led us through the remodel process.

The selection of cabinetry went well and was quickly done. Jen was able to lay out the room using CAD software to allow us to see overhead and eye-level based views that we could also provide to our contractor. Her pricing was good for what we were looking for, and the layout fully met our needs. We placed the order with her, paid half on ordering, and the other half when available for pick-up. It was a pleasure working with Jen. Jen also recommended Bob Drouin as our contractor, who has worked with them for years. Bob was a true joy to work with, and we have entered a separate Angie's List review for him.
Description of Work: Jen Charboneau at Norfolk Kitchen & Bath in Salem, NH helped us with a remodel of our master bathroom. This included selecting bathroom furniture (dual-sink vanity, tower cabinet, over toilet cabinet, mirrors) of the style we wished per our suggested layout. Her pricing was good for what we were looking for, and the layout fully met our needs.
