New England Chimney Experts

The job done was aweful. He did not thoroughly clean the chimneys and 1 of the liners that was installed was not done correctly. He jammed two pipes into the chimney and didn't connect them, this resulted in a chimney fire. When my husband removed the liner Derrick installed the entire outside was burned from top to bottom. He could have burned our house down. The work was awful, he was unprofessional, and I will never use him again. We had a piece of mortar in our chimney that had to be removed before a liner could be properly installed and instead of doing this he bent the crap out of the liner to make it fit. His work could have caused serious injury to my family!

I thought it went well. The work was done in November 2011. We hired a company to clean our chimney this year before we fired up our woodstove and found out that they only installed a piece of pipe at the top and bottom of the chimney so it would appear that a liner was installed. I contacted Derek and he was very friendly when he thought I was in the market for a new chimney liner and when I told him the details he said he would look into it. He called me back the following day and was now Frank and had just bought the company last year but would make it right. I haven't heard from him since. I have left several messages. I had someone else call looking into some chimney work and Derek was back.
