Twelve years later, I noticed shingles were beginning to curl a bit, but I thought it was because of the southern exposure, and that it was normal wear and tear. But the roof kept getting progressively worse. I'd find chipped tiles in the garden bed below, etc, and when the facia board was replaced by a different contractor, that contractor said that when he was up doing his work he noticed the roof was in very poor condition. In 2013 I called Frank, but got his son, Mitchell (who had also worked on the installation), who told me that if I didn't have my receipt, there was nothing he would do. He said that at the time I had purchased those shingles, the architectural ones they were installing then were now having issues, stating "they look like s***, but they're functioning just fine, no worries." I've had no leaks that I'm aware of, but yes, he's right...the roof looks worse than ever. It?s only a matter of time before it totally fails. It's now April, 2015, and I'm now selling my house. This time I called to get an estimate on replacing my defective roof. Mitchell (Frank, Mitchell's father, passed away March 8, 2014) agreed to come to my home and give me an estimate. Despite having GPS he got lost on the way, and while we were on the phone I mentioned that my realtor was at my door with clients. At that point he YELLED at me that he "doesn't do estimates for free if the house is for sale," and that it was "his lunch hour and it would cost me $180 UP FRONT" if I wanted him to come and give me an estimate. I was shocked. He had made no mention of any kind of up front payments when we originally spoke, nor was there any mention of houses for sale requiring an up front payment of $180 on Home Roofing's website. I said we could discuss that when he got to my home. He never showed up, nor will he answer his cell phone when I call. He has not returned my calls.

Home Roofing returned my call and came quickly when I had a leak in my roof a few years ago. Recently they re-roofed my house with architectural shingles, and also repaired the roof on my shed when a tree fell on it. They do the job for a reasonable price and are totally focused on customer satisfaction. I had a small problem with some flashing around the chimney some months later; they came immediately and fixed it, at no charge.
