Outstanding experience with Edmunds. I knew I needed a repair because I had had a house inspection done. The inspector told me there were things in the attic that needed attention, but I could remember what they were. They were here the day after they inspected the roof. They even took care of "the stuff" in the attic, which turned out to be a venting issue. A previous roofing co. had told me I needed a whole new roof and didn't even go into the attic. My brother used these guys a few years ago and raved about them. Call them first and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. They did a beautiful job.

The company was very responsive to the situation, this being New England and the 4 feet of snow we've received in a month. They arrived on the day they scheduled and within the time frame established. The men were very pleasant and professional and took to the work and never stopped. This required shoveling through feets of snow before they could even get to the problem; then cleared an ice dam on a balcony before heading up a ladder onto the slate roof. First the snow had to be shoveled from the peaked, slate roof, then the real work started. The ice dam that formed on the roof at the gutter must have been 12" thick and 3 feet long. The men worked very well together and looked out for each other during this very dangerous work. They were careful not to damage surrounding walls or windows. They were successful removing the problems, cleaned up after which entailed shoveling all the snow and ice that had been removed from the roof and balcony and they made sure the stairs from the balcony and walkway were shoveled well. Before leaving they provided some guidance regarding the ice dam that had formed on the balcony that we could do to avoid future build up. We have a porch roof that needs replacing in the Spring and this company will be the first we call.

They were marvelous. They were done in one day. They were very polite and thorough.

With ten workers, the roof work was completed in one day. All landscape was protected and all debris was removed. The price was a few thousand dollars less than other estimates I had obtained.

Edmunds sent a crew of about 15. They first arranged large tarpaulins to protect our many shrubs surrounding the house, and then worked together like a well-oiled machine removing the 2 layers of shingles, putting down leak-barrier rolls and shingles. Afterwards, they cleaned up very well. They did the wlole job in one day. We have lived in our house for 44 years. The house needed a new roof shortly after we moved in, so this was our 4th roofing experience on this same house. It was far-and-away the best roofing performance we have had, by a long shot. We felt we had to do something because of the serious ice-dams and their resultant leakages from the previous winter.

The work was performed satisfactorily. Based on this, I contacted them on 8/3/2011 to perform additional work. We agreed on a time to meet to get an evaluation and an estimate. The representative never showed up and didn't call to let me know there was a problem with fulfilling the appointment.

Awesome! They re-roofed my house in one day last week and and are still working on the siding and gutters. The workers are unbelievable. They know what they are doing and are staying busy all day, just taking one break a day. I have 2 dogs and they are great at keeping the gate closed.
