Big Dog Builders

Overall my experience with Big Dog Builders (BDB) was very good with replacing failing existing kitchen cabinets, as well as replacing existing countertop/ sink / faucet and bathroom vanity. After overcoming a few initial scheduling and start date issues BDB tackled the job with enthusiasm and professionalism. Let it be known that BDB installed materials, hardware and plumbing fixtures that I purchased, hence, I paid for labor only. Cabinets and plumbing fixtures were delivered to the house while BDB helped pick up the countertop and lumber. Owner, Ty Terry, completed the work with one helper in seven days, including one-half day on a weekend. He did not appear to cut any corners and spent welcomed effort and time in resolving a couple of installation issues with corner cabinet and countertop and over the sink light. BDB certainly gave me the impression they truly worked for customer satisfaction, asking questions many times before a task was completed to assure understanding and satisfaction. Mr. Terry repeatedly stated his work is guaranteed for life because he stands behind his work 100%. Did their best to keep interior flooring and carpeting clean while installing. Most all cuts were made in garage or outside. One thing that could be improved is timely communication – returning calls and texts. Would I hire BDB again? Yes. I did ask BDB for pricing on three other projects but have note yet received a response.

My experience with Bid Dog Builders was excellent. The owner, Ty Terry, happily took on my project and made me feel as though it was the most important job on his list. I'm sure he made all his clients feel like that. A genuine nice man with a great crew. He was very fair with the cost of all fixtures, utility work and custom cabinetry. Ty helped in all aspects of the design as well. Gave some valuable suggestions. We receive nothing but compliments on our new bathroom. Very Satisfied! We will use him for other projects around our home in the future.

From day one, we discussed everything that was planned for the day. If things that were planned did not get done, I was informed why and what the plan would be for the next day. If any issues came up (like the hole in the roof that was revealed when the kitchen ceiling was removed!), I was informed immediately and if alternate plans were required, I was informed of options and my needs and budget were always respected. The work site was always cleaned at the end of the day and I always knew what time I would see the crew the next day. The crew was professional at all times and the work was completed in a timely fashion. Both the bathroom and the kitchen look fabulous! The quality of work is amazing and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The owner was exceptional. I told him what I wanted and he also gave me ideas I would have never thought of!! Finished in record time exceeding my expectations. He was also around $3000.00 cheaper than any other estimate, and never went over the budget!
