Ed and his son arrived at noon and promptly went to work dismantling our old water heater. He paused to let me clean up the area around the old tank. That was much appreciated since it was an area that was in need of some tlc. Needless to say we did run into some glitches when working with such an old unit but he and his son went above and beyond our expectations with their work ethic and determination to get the job done right. Their professionalism and attention to detail was extremely well received; and even his wife ran to get some needed parts in the middle of the job. I would not hesitate to call them again for any of our plumbing needs and am keeping them in mind for our future home build. The old saying , you get what you pay for, is very applicable to this business. Our final bill was more than the original quote but very justified for the added work that they performed. I feel that the quality of the product that I purchased and the manner in which it was installed was what I expect for the cost ensued.

I do not begrudge someone a fair wage (I am a business owner as well) but they are FAR from FAIR, they actually GOUGE. What I also find troubling with this plumber and several others is how they HIDE their REAL hourly wage in the customer's ignorance. They know that most customers have no idea how long it will take to do the work, and they PREY on that. When given an estimate they only give the price, no details such as time and materials and that is by DESIGN, they do not want you to know that they are actually charging you $300-$400 per hour + double, triple and quadruple for materials. Many are charging you Master plumber prices for their journeyman, which is totally wrong. Sadly that is the case with this company. When I asked for the hourly rate they would NOT give it. I was told the hourly is just for "small jobs". But here is the thing, they have to calculate the hours in order to come up with a price, so why do they REFUSE to tell the customer how many hours are in the estimate, simple, they do not want you to know they are charging you HUNDREDS of dollars per hour. They know home owners are not going to be okay with them charging $300-$400 per hour, so they HIDE it in a "bulk price" and then act as if it is a much bigger job than it is so you just accept the "bulk price". They also make the customer feel they are doing them a "favor" with the price, which is just NOT TRUE! The only "favor" is to themselves. Plumbers should not be charging as much as a lawyer, they are not keeping us out of prison, they are just fixing our toilets. $80-$100 per hour is more than fair for a good and even great plumber; $300-$400 per hour is just ROBBERY! I not only cannot NOT recommend this company for their outrageous prices but I recommend customers who did hire them take a second look at how much they REALLY paid them for the work. How many hours did they actually WORK, not how long they may have drug out the work, but actual working hours. I think you will be SHOCKED at how much you really paid and were OVER CHARGED! I have no problem if a plumber wants to charge $300-$400 per hour, but be HONEST about it and let the customer decide if they are willing to pay that, but of course they do not tell the customers that because they know that no one would hire them for those prices, so they HIDE it. Needless to say I did not hire this company, especially when the other plumber was literally HALF the price for the same work. There are good plumbers out there who are FAIR in their pricing, you just have to look for them, this just happens to NOT be one of them. They may be a great plumber but no plumber is worth $300-$400 per hour especially for just the father and 18 year old son. I really want to say that they are "good people" because they are very kind to talk to etc, but the truth is, good people are HONEST and do not OVER CHARGE and HIDE their prices so the customer has no idea what they are really paying. I gave an F for professionalism because of their estimate. The fact that they refused to give time and materials to show how they came up with the estimate speaks VOLUMES of their desire to keep the TRUE cost HIDDEN from me.

Mr. D'Ambruoso appeared on time, diagnosed the problem, left to get the parts and returned promptly to install them. The job took about two hours longer than expected because of unexpected complications due to some poor work by a previous plumber . He stuck with it and completed a professional repair efficiently. Altogether, a very satisfactory experience.

i was very pleased with providers quick response to my request. He answered my email within a couple of hours and set up a time to come and give an estimate to replace my old water heater. He was very punctual with his appointment and very informative as to how he would approach removing our old water tank and what we want to have in it's place. We inquired about different models and he answered all our questions and concerns appropriately. I will be calling him in the spring to set up a time to come and complete the job for us. His pricing seemed very reasonable and we look forward to using his services in the future.

I was in the market for a new electric hot water heater to replace the one at my condo and one of the first places I reached out to was D'Ambruoso Plumbing and Heating. I received a call back within the hour (after hours mind you...) and got a quote that was within my budget. Not only was the price right, but Ed and his son were able to install it the next day. I was quite surprised since we're in the middle of a cold snap and all the other contractors I reached out to were booked for 7-14 days. The best part was that they removed the old heater and installed the new one in less than 3 hours. Ed was very friendly and even gave me some good tips to keep the heater running for a long time. If I need more plumbing work in the future, I'll will definitely call D'Ambruoso first.

Ed and Vince and Michelle do a nice job. They do what they say they will do. I have been using their services since 2012 for our apartment buildings in Plymouth and Ashland NH and have been happy with their services. They have done several kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems for me.

Ed has been super responsive, getting his part done when needed, worked great with the other contractors, and very knowledgable as we came across any issues with this older home. We are going to definitely use him going forward!

Ed was responsive,and professional . He did a thorough exploration of the situation once we described the problem. The cause was a malfunctioning valve and he quickly repaired it. His prices are reasonable and he was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely use him again if needed.

It was fine. He is responsive and shows up when he says he will. He does a nice job. I've used them for the last couple of years.

All discussions and price negotiations were done via phone and accomplished without a hitch. After several months, I have returned to the vacation home, and upon inspection of the job, saw that it was completed as agreed and the new water heater is performing excellently. I am extremely happy with all the communication and the end result. The customer service with this vendor is excellent. Everything was done in a timely manner. And, the end result could not have been better. This is my vendor for any future plumbing needs for my vacation home.

I had corroded pipes and radiators that had stopped working. Ed and Michelle visited and presented a written estimate before work started. Ed and Vincent completed the work and given the age of my system there were no expensive surprises and all was repaired in an excellent manner over two visits. The faucet was an easy job and works perfectly. It's hard to find a good plumber is this area. I will be recommending the D'Ambuoso family to all of my friends.

Called Ed the morning (8/19/13) was at my house with in one and half hours. He fixed old out dated plumbing under the sink that had been leaking. Ed and his son did a great job, replaced all the pipes, put in a new faucet, cleaned up, and was done in less then two hours. His price was very reasonable, I will use Ed every time I have a Plumbing problem.

Ed was great, he and his son showed up at the appointed time and dug right in. He quickly surveyed the entire plumbing and heating system and was able to deduce exactly where the hidden faulty mixing valve was located that was causing our hot and cold water problems. After reviewing our comprehensive list of plumbing repairs and upgrades we decided which items he would do that day and which items he would do at a future appointment. Total time of that first appointment was approximately 2 hours and Ed charged us $30 for parts and $170 for labor which we felt was very reasonable. We are very happy with the results and will be having Ed back shortly to upgrade kitchen sink fixtures and install a new toilet, vanity and sink top.

Trouble with HVAC - he came and checked out the problem and returned and fixed the problem to our satisfaction -

Ed returned my call promptly, arrived when he said he would and quickly assessed the possible pipe leak in my closet. He fixed it quickly and the charge (I felt) was reasonable. He was professional and friendly. I would definitely call on him again for any work I needed done.

We had been impressed with how Ed and his son had repaired our shower. We had also discussed with him at the time the cost of installing an electric water heater. A few weeks later we were having problems with our drier. If we bought a replacement a gas shutoff would have to be installed. We were about to have a house full of company. Ed responded within 24 hours and we agreed that this would also be a good time to do the water heater installation. Within another 12 hours everything had been completed satisfactorily and according to projected costs. At this time everything continues to work properly.

Ed gave same-day service, arrived on time, and got the job done! I appreciate knowing that when I need a plumber, I know who to call! His problem-solving skills and professionalism is greatly appreciated!

Perfect. He came when he said he would come - gave estimate- installed on the day scheduled on time and charged what he said it would be.

The plumbing for the zone work looks extremely nice and neat but best of all the cost to heat the building has dropped significantly. Since this installation I call this company first for all my plumbing needs. I figure, why waste my time hunting around when I have someone who knows exactly what they are doing and does it well. This company has saved me time and money every time. Now I am in the process of rehabbing 2 houses for resale. I did not think twice about who to call. Very satisfied.

The AirTap is a relatively new device that supposedly can be installed by the homeowner. I've installed a standard hwh in the past, but I am very glad I engaged Mr. D'Ambruso for this project. His expertise was crucial to overcoming some ambiguities in the instructions that came with the device. Although the device was new to him (to my knowledge, only the 2nd in the area), he took it on when most plumbers (I think) would not have, citing insurance issues and the like. And that was what impressed me the most about him, his openmindedness and adaptability re new materials, techniques, etc., which when combined with his high professionalism and skill in and quot;homeowner relationsand quot; makes him the perfect plumber. The 2nd job made use of his more traditional skills (sweating joints, etc.), but again, he incorporated new materials (Pex piping, high-quality push fittings, etc.) which speeded up the job and made for extra space in the closet behind the bathroom. He had previously removed the old hwh from a very tight area and ingeniously singlehandly loaded it onto his truck for disposal. As I say, all you want in a plumber and an interesting guy as well.
