It went very well. At no cost the electrician inspected my circuit panel and gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to improve it. He also provided some advice on how to improve my energy consumption by using more efficient light bulbs.

The work required snaking a new television cable from its entry point in the basement, across the length of the house/basement to the upstairs living room at the opposite end of the house. The work was complicated by a finished basement ceiling making the installation more difficult. In other words, there is no drop ceiling that can be opened up to attach the cable to the beams. Mr. Electric of Southeast NH was quickly responsive to come to my house for an estimate. The following day I called for an appointment to have the work done; and it was lined up for the next day. From the estimate to the completion of the job was 3 days. So the job was done in a timely manner. The owner and the electrician that came to do the work were both very professional, friendly and courteous. The work was done in such a manner that in only one place was it necessary to open up the ceiling dry wall, and the electrician even refastened the small section that was removed so that it can be plastered/spackled without much difficulty. The price was a bit high, I thought, but the work that had to be done was pretty challenging. The owner told me when he came to do the estimate that it would be an all day job. It almost went shorter than that, but getting the cable up from the basement to the living room floor held some problems that took awhile to iron out. All in all, a good experience. I would gladly use Mr. Electric of Southeast NH in the future for any electrical work I may need.
