I’m very impressed with the service and knowledge of Super Sweep. They came out on-time and gave me an honest assessment of my chimney and provided me with sound recommendations. They did only what was needed , not what they could have done to drive up the cost. Over the years I’ve lowered my expectations when it comes to customer service because of past experiences. Very professional and punctual. We were very satisfied!

Inspection went well. We had to make a few adjustments to our date due to bad weather but they were very helpful and made the adjusted date we agreed upon. Both men were very professional. Inspected the fireplace chimney first and were careful not to make a mess in the living room. Looked up the fireplace chimney, tested the flue open-close control, and noted there was no creosote build-up problem. We proceeded to the basement where they turned off the furnace, pulled the furnace pipes to the chimney, and inspected the furnace chimney flue. They noted that the furnace tile lining to the chimney was gradually being eaten away by the hot acidic gases. They showed me the problem. One then climbed onto the roof and looked down the chimney to further inspect the problem. He then returned to the basement and reconnected the furnace pipes to the chimney and turned the furnace back on and tested to be sure the furnace was cycling on and off properly. We then talked. The fireplace chimney was found to be in good working order. For the furnace chimney they noted that the chimney flue walls were getting worn out and would need to have a stainless steel liner installed in the near future. I asked what that would cost so they worked up an estimate for installing a liner. We agreed to talk in the Spring after the weather improves about doing this liner work. I checked the need for a liner with another inspector by having a second inspection done. The other inspector confirmed that a liner will be needed for the furnace chimney flue in the near future. The Super Sweeps price estimate for a furnace liner installation was better than that given by the second inspector.

Very knowledgeable, informative and professional. They were at my home the day after I called and right on time. The only thing they couldn't do was give a full inspection of our pellet stove because they don't have the necessary certification, as they explained.

The whole experience was great from the first phone conversation to the day of service.

Very quick response after I called them to get price and set date to have work accomplished. They were here within just a few days and came early in the day as I had requested. I wanted them to do work in the coolest part of the hot day to preclude doing any damage to our new asphalt shingle roof (shingles become very soft and prone to damage if walked on during hot, sunny days). The job was completed quickly, thoroughly, and cleanly. They also offered suggestions on helping to reduce/eliminate the strong creosote odor being produced by our massive colonial-style fireplace/chimney. Cost very reasonable. Friendly and courteous service. Highly recommended!!

The new owners of the company were two very pleasant young men who knew their trade and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. About a cord of wood is burned each year, so I plan to get the chimney inspected/cleaned again next year to see if it will require annual cleaning or if the interval can be extended to every two years. Very pleased with the service.

The company (two brothers) were punctual and took all necessary steps to assure that no soot would be spread throughout the house. A large vacuum was used along with a 4" diameter exhaust hose long enough to extend well outside through a window to be sure no dust was blown around inside. Drop cloths were placed in front of the fireplace to prevent any soot from landing on the floor. They paid a lot of attention to detail.
