There Moto should be "when you shop here, it is all about the sale!" You can forget customer support after the installation. They did come out once for a replacement part on one of the appliances they sold us, the same part broke again and we were told they were busy but we are on their list, we could contact the manufacturer if we wanted faster service. We contacted them several times over about a 6-8 week period and finally got a call to say we were too far out (14 miles/a little over 20 minutes!) and would not come out for the replacement part! The representative also had the audacity to suggest we must be abusing the appliance!!! Buyer beware, posed on their Facebook page, but just in case they delete the review, same reb=view posted here. I will also email the manufacturer of the appliances! Usually we try to promote local businesses, this company failed the first time!
Description of Work: Sales was fine after sales service very poor.

Response from Monadnock Appliance Repair
At every interaction with these individuals we have treated them with the highest standard of respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was not returned. When we were contacted that they had broken the same part in their dishwasher. We informed them that as we are extremely short staffed we would not be able to get them into the schedule for "at least three weeks". As the tone of their email and voicemails was that they wanted this taken care of quickly, we suggested that they contact the manufacturer and file a warranty claim so someone with more availability could be scheduled to provide service. We had hoped that they would have followed this advise as we had simply had enough of their repeated disrespectful treatment of our staff. We did NOT hear from them for almost 2 months. They were then contacted by the owner to inform them that we would not be able to provide them service. They had to be warned during that contact that another outburst or use of profanity would end the call. Small businesses are under intense pressure in the current market/economy. Small locally owned businesses struggle to maintain staffing, as such we simply can not service customers who repeatedly find it necessary to be rude and disrespectful to our people. We did our best to respectfully steer them elsewhere. Unfortunately, people are who they are as can be seen in the tone of this "review".

Dan came out and, after much investigation, figured out what part we needed for our dishwasher. After two weeks, he called to say that he was not able to the order the part b/c of the company's restrictions. We were able to get the part and called him to tell him it was in. It took him several weeks to finally call us back. He came out to install the new part but it didn't work and we were told we needed another part. Ordered it, it arrived and we called multiple times to have him come back out. NEVER heard from him. I called once a week, twice a week, etc. and left voice mails. Think maybe he went out of business! Finally attempted to install the part ourselves. VERY disappointed that Dan never even called us back to tell us that he couldn't do the work. Poor customer service!

I washed a large load of towels and left it in the washer for him to see and touch. He used that load of towels to run tests on the spin cycle. He found that the tub was slipping. He pulled the machine out and tipped it back to inspect the belt below the tub. He found that it had been slipping and that the slipping made the belt surface slick so that it would not grip the pulley securely. He told me that there were two options to fix the problem: A simple, low-cost solution (Treat the inner surface of the belt and adjust the tension) and a more complex high-cost solution (Remove the motor and transmission and replace the belt with a new one). I asked him to implement the simple, low-cost solution to see how it would work. He treated the belt inner surface so that it would not be slick, tightened the belt, and tested it out. It worked much better. He charged me $55.00 for the job. I thought that it was a reasonable charge especially since he had travelled a good distance. I tested it again after he left and it still worked well.
Description of Work: Diagnosed a problem with my Whirlpool clothes washer and fixed the problem. The washer would not spin a finished load fast enough to reduce moisture to an acceptable level.
