for the last two years we have had nothing but problems with Rye Fuel. They let us run dry of fuel twice, though we are on automatic delivery. Not prompt to take care of problem. Had confusion with pay as you go billing. Cleaned furnace in March, next morning no heat. When I called said they would come sometime that day. When tech did come he couldn't get furnace started, called for help. Next morning no heat! Called again. Tech would be here sometime that day. Called another company. They got furnace started. Said setting were all wrong and that was why furnace stopped working. Had it with this company. Save yourself a lot of grief don't get involved with Rye Fuel!

Description of Work: Repaired defective A/C condenser. Took longer than I expected but that was more a reflection of the quality of the previous vendor. I was completely satisfied with their work and will use them in future.

They provide me with oil. They didn't charge me for service on the machine. Rye Energy does a very nice job. They are very courteous and they are at the very top. He goes right to work. The price is reasonable.

called to have furnace repaired. Arrived late for appointment. Cleaned and replaced some parts. Next morning 8am called, no heat or hot water. Couldn't come for three hours. Service man came, needed to call someone else. Replaced part, apologized for putting in a part that was to small. One week later awoke middle of night no heat or hot water. Called, couldn't be here for three hours. Had other problems with this company over the last year. On automatic delivery, ran out. Billing problems. Called another co. Said they could come within the hour. Cancelled appointment with Rye Fuel. Won't be using them for anything involving our furnace in the future.

Description of Work: We are on automatic fuel delivery. Ran out of fuel 12:30 am Didn't want to cause someone to come out in the cold and snow so we waited till 8 am to call. Was told they would be at my home sometime that morning. I let them know I didn't think that was very good service. Waited another hour, called again and said we had already been more than patient and we needed service. Was told they would be here within an hour. Ten min. Later, Tech arrived an confirmed we were out of fuel and would have to wait for a delivery. I said this was most unacceptable. Tech left, sat in in van a while then got out opened van and proceeded to fill our tank with two containers of fuel he had on hand, came back into home started furnace. We ran into some furnace problems later that morning. Called, said they would be right out. Three hours later tech came and took care of problem. Called Ralph next day and he said they would make things right, since they let the fuel run dry. I was concerned, after reading the other review here, but I'm please to report Ralph treated us fairly. We will continue to use Rye Fuel. Professionalism A for Ralph, C the tech

In January one of our furnaces stopped working and we were freezing. I called them and asked for someone to come out and service it, I was told by Ralph the General Manager he would call me right back...I spent two weeks leaving repeated messages for him that were never returned and even stopped by in person...nothing. I finally hired someone else to fix my furnace and vowed never to do business with them again. Our account was set up on 'Will Call' meaning we would only have a delivery if we called and requested one. On 3/12 my wife called to find out our final balance so we could be done with them for good...she was asked if we needed oil...she said 'No'. The next day they came without our knowledge and delivered 70+/- gallons of oil. I contacted them immediately and asked them to take it back...they said it was their mistake but they wouldn't take it back and we would have to pay them. I offered to bring it back myself...they refused. I have spent 6 months calling them and their parent company to try and get this resolved...it has been a nightmare. They sent us a letter saying they were going to take us to small claims court...and have since sent us to a collection agency. Avoid them at all cost...it has been a terrible experience.
Description of Work: Never returned repeated calls when my furnace was not working...and then delivered 70+/- gallons of Oil by mistake and refused to take it back or allow me to return it
