B & C Floor Store

Came to our home to take measurements for a hardwood floor installation. Told us we would get the estimate in a few days and we have not heard from them since. The people who are actually going to install our floor told us that the product that B & C was suppose to quote us could not be installed in the area we desired.

Started well then the job lingered. Between unexpected trouble with the sub floor, not their fault, several sick days, and items not ordered for the job, it took longer than quoted. The other inconvenience was it took them two weeks to remove the ripped out carpet.

While they were very nice, and got back to me in reasonable time, they quoted me a premium price for Bruce hardwood. This is the same brand that can be bought at Home Depot and Lowes, and receives poor reviews from installers. I purchased my own wood from JBW in Falmouth, ME, and got FAR better quality flooring. I also sourced my own independent installer, which saved me quite a bit of money over the price quoted by B&C for install. Again, they were great to work with, and they were very nice, but for the quality of flooring and price of install, I couldn't go with their price.

Everything went as it should...the owners are easy to deal with. The installers were punctual, professional, organized and tidy. I would hire them again.

Very well. Great service, came out to my house right away, allowed me to keep carpet samples, responsive to phone calls etc. Friendly but not pushy. Installation went well. Installers grumbled about having to take their shoes off and cut up the existing carpet when I had asked if we could keep it in large chucks earlier. But, all in all it was a great to have completed and we're really happy with the end result! I would definitely recommend B and C Floor to others.

They were very nice and efficient - the estimate was performed promptly, the work was done as soon as the carpet could be delivered from the wholesalers, and the installers were exceptional at working around our truly challenging schedule. Their prices were very good, although I went into this with the thought of those television ads promising to carpet up to three rooms at $199 per room, so I guess that I wasn't being realistic in my expectations. All-in-all, they are the people that I will call next when I need some carpeting installed...

It went fine. They were professional, on time, and on budget. They did a good job.

They were very helpful in advising me what would fit my budget needs. The workers were clean and prompt. They provided me with a good economical budget and were very patient in guiding me to what I wanted. Everything turned out looking very beautiful.

In one case, the client had been told by three other flooring stores that the product he wanted was discontinued and unavailable. Brett called the manufacturer, found out the product was not only still available (under a different name), but also was able to price, install it, and take outstanding care of the customer for less than the competitors wanted to related products. Anytime you walk into their store, you will be made welcome immediately, and allowed to explore as you prefer, either with guidance or without. There's a great reason their tag line is "We Floor our Customers!" Brett and Carol will certainly do whatever they can to make their customers satisfied and happy.

We were very impressed with the amount of products in the store. Carol was very knowledgeable, and she explained everything to my wife and I.

We could not be happier with the work that has been done in our master bathroom. Carol and Brett were so helpful in helping us select the tile for our shower and floor. They know their products and helped us make selections that would be beautiful and functional. The tile installers, Steve and Sonny were fantastic to work with. They took the time to explain options to us and went above and beyond to make the shower look beautiful. B and C will also be doing work in our other bathroom and kitchen, so I feel confident those projects will go smoothly also.

Brett and Carol have a great showroom with multiple samples, and are very generous with lending boards and samples so that my clients can see the flooring choices in their own home and alongside their existing furniture and possessions. They are always willing to provide information and honest feedback regarding flooring selections, and I don't know a more pleasant, honest and competent couple to rely on for my flooring needs on the Seacoast. I would absolutely entrust any of my clients - up to and including my parents - with service and attention provided by Brett and Carol.

I was extremely happy with my experience at the B & C Floor Store. I went in to shop for new kitchen flooring and was very impressed with the variety of carpeting, hardwood, tile, and vinyl that they carry. The showroom is set up beautifully, making it easy to see everything that they offer. Brett was very helpful, asking questions to get an idea of what I wanted and what would work best for my home. He showed me several different options, explaining the differences between the various types of flooring. He spent a great deal of time with me, helping me to choose the right flooring and color. He offered just the right combination of helpful advice and time for me to think about the options without pressure. I was able to take several samples home with me in order to see how each one would look in the room. This was extremely helpful because things look very different in a large showroom than they do in a smaller room with different lighting and colors. Once I chose the sample I wanted, Brett came to my home to measure the room, the order was placed and the flooring was delivered in a very short time. The installer arrived at my home on time and was very polite and professional. He worked quickly but carefully and kept the work area as neat and clean as possible. When he finished, he showed me how to move my refrigerator in the future so that it would not damage the flooring. I would definitely recommend the B & C Floor Store to anyone who is looking for any type of flooring and wants to get the personal, one-on-one type of service that they offer.

First of all as you enter their showroom, you are greeted with a warm, friendly knowledgeable person. I was fortunate to get the owner Carol (although everyone there is just attentive). There is so much to choose from for your floor and tile needs, but don't be overwhelmed because the sales person will guide you as needed. I happened to be looking for stair runners for my foyer, I knew my budget but I wasn't certain what type of carpeting I wanted. I was introduced to many types of carpeting and received information on each of the samples I was interested in ( I could have received info on any one of them but we just stuck with what I was interested in). I was also given private time to peruse the showroom, pull out any samples that caught my eye and was able to test them under foot. With the help of Carol, I chose the carpet best for my budget, style of my home and wearability. Carol was kind enough to order me a samples of the carpeting, I was torn between 2 colorsI so they ordered me the 2 samples. These were not just tiny samples they were about 12" x 12"! I was also given the choice of edging on my stair runner and again I wasn't sure, so they had their edger put the different edges on the color sample I chose to give me a feel of what it would look like. Once I made my choice, we set up an appointment for measurement of my staircase. which was within a few days and my carpet was ordered that day. I was just pleased with the installation. The installer was professional, neat ( he was tidy throughout the installation) and experienced! I wish I could show you a photo but I cannot see where I can upload it.
