I have been wanting to write a review for some time now. It's been over a since this job was done. This was a complete botch job. Mike came to do a job in 2 parts. The upstairs and then the downstairs. I bought the flooring all at once. My house is a modular. There's a slight height difference between the living room and the kitchen which should've been sanded to equal height or split to accommodate for possible changes as time goes on. This knowledge was not passed to me and within a few weeks the lvp cracked in half along this distance. I called him to come back he was almost impossible to get to come out here. He wanted to charge me $450 to replace and fix his garbage work to pay for a half day. Explaining that needs to be sanded down. I was obviously furious saying it should've been done at the time of the job!!. He glued down pieces of flooring on a floating floor. He left huge gaps in front of the doors and under the sink on pieces the apprentices cut wrong. He also left those two just out of high school kids to work without supervision. When I called to ask what glue he used to glue down the floor so I could fix it myself or whatever he did he finally got back to me to say you don't glue down a floating floor! I told him I saw him then he came and glued down the floor!! Instead of fixing it. The hack job problems are endless a complete redo. HACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Initial installation was ok. Have been waiting over a year for repairs on areas that need to be fixed.

There were a couple of messy spots and things I had to point out to him that he didn't really notice on his own. He fixed it and it was awesome. He left the place clean after he was done. His prices are excellent.

Not to my expectations. Big lesson I learnt: never hire folks without checking with at least 2-3 references of home owners where the contractor has earlier worked.

Never had an estimate or work done.

Before I contacted Mike, I used a handyman to install laminate flooring in my living room. The person who hired not only did a sloppy job but also didn't complete the job. After that bad experience, I contacted several professional floor installers but none of them want to take the job at that condition. But, when I contacted Mike he was not only ready to take job, but also had the can-do attitude. He gave a detail explanation for the things need to done and also provided me a good estimate for the time and price. This was my rental property and timing was very critical and Mike did a great job finishing within very short time. He did a fantastic job given the situation. Mike also gave me a detailed report to use it against the previous handyman if I decide to seek a legal action. I recommend Mike for his professionalism and quality of the work, especially his can-do-attitude.
