Hosta Amour

I was looking to purchase some hosta plants and learned that there was a hosta farm 3 miles from my home. I found Hosta Amour and sent them an email with an inquiry about what type of hosta they would suggest for my desired application. I immediately heard back from Cheryl with some suggestions. She told me that she would dig them up and have them ready for me that weekend. Upon my arrival at Hosta Amour I was greeted by Cheryl, her husband Rick and some other customers. There were 2 very quiet rescue bulldogs they were both lying down enjoying watching everyone. When I introduced myself to Cheryl, she shook my hand and knew who I was right off the top of her head! I was so impressed. She asked her husband to retrieve my plants and in a flash he was back with my order. I paid for my order and chatted with Cheryl about planting my new plants and she answered every question, no rush at all. Others were coming in and she greeted them by name. She handed me her card and told me don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions. Rick escorted me to my truck where he put all my plants in for me. He reminded me to water them since he did not that morning so that they would not leak in my car, again so impressed. There is something to be said for the little guy, if you are in the market for some beautiful hosta plants come to Pelham and see Cheryl and Rick you will be as impressed as I was.

I arrived today to pick up my plants. I was greeted by Cheryl her husband Rick along with their rescue bulldogs and other customers. I introduced myself to Cheryl who was so personable and professional and she remembered who I was and our email communications! I was so impressed. I paid for my purchase and Rick promptly went out back to retrieve my plants that were all ready for me. Cheryl explained how to plant them and handed me a card and said please call me if you have any questions! Rick then helped me put my plants in my car, all 14 of them and they are stunning! Large healthy hosta plants that I could never have purchased at a retail nursery or home store. I am proud to support small local businesses and will be returning to Hosta Amour in the future.
