Description of Work: He was hired last winter to remove ice dams. He butchered my roof, broke a mahogany step on my porch, and broke the Fire alarm on the side of my house. I had to contact him him over and over again. He finally came back to put on a new step and supposedly repair the roof. He also scratched my stone walkway and broke the fire alarm on the side if my house. He still has not come back to repair these items. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Now I have to find someone to fix these items.

Description of Work: Stripped old roof, replaced some plywood decking that had mold issues, installed new architectural roof along with 2 new bathroom vents. Joe and his crew were very professional, punctual and hard working. Area surrounding work was clean and swept. Super impressed with the quality and ease of scheduling this job.

Description of Work: We had a very bad ice problem between the roof of our house and the roof of the porch beneath. I called them based on the reviews on Angie's List. They responded in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were and I was able to schedule an appointment a few days after the call. The crew arrived promptly and removed the ice as we requested in a very professional manner. I would use them again.

Description of Work: stripped and re-shingled my roof. they arrived on time and had all the necessary tools and equipment. they protected the house and gardens with tarps. they worked quickly, cleaning as they went along. re-shingled the roof exactly as discussed in their proposal without any extras. excellent quality work. totally cleaned up after including using a magnet on the driveway to pick up nails. we were very pleased with the work and the workers and would use them again without hesitation.

Description of Work: We had our house (large colonial with several additions and 2 car garage) sided and windows replaced. Working with Joe was a pleasure, he is very professional and easy to work with. He was very patient going through the options for our job. His quote wasn't the cheapest but was by far the most detailed making it the best value. On a job this big there are going to issues. Each and every issue was resolved to our complete satisfaction. Joe goes out of his way to make sure the job is done right and 100% to your satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: My roof leaked into my den but only after severe windy rain storms. Some of the insulation and ceiling tiles were soaked and ruined. I truly thought that the underlying wood would be completely rotted and that the roof would have to be stripped and rebuilt. Joe came in, assessed the problem and assured me he could take care of it. The roof was structurally sound and solid. He put on a new roof for me at a reasonable price. There was no hard sell. The work was performed just as promised and completed on schedule. This was a situation where I could have been sold a "bill of goods" by a less honest contractor. I lucked out in finding Arone Contractors. Joe's crew was respectful of my property and the clean up was impeccable. I never found a bit of shingle nor one nail on the ground. I would highly recommend them for any project.
