As expected

Had a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.

Red arrived on time, completed the project in 1 1/2 hours, and left no mess or debris.

Came and installed ceiling fan and recessed lighting.

It went very well. Ed was very prompt and responded to my call within an hour. His work was excellent. He informed me that for safety's sake I should have a GFI in the kitchen area (actually he checked the circuit and determined that I needed two to comply with code). He replaced the switches and outlets that I needed, installed everything (with many trips up and downstairs to the electrical box to determine what was on which circuit). He was very professional and friendly and good-natured while he worked. I will definitely hire him again.

I called Casablanca Fans earlier today about the need for a replacement part for their Casablanca Delta fan that was manufactured back in 1984 and no longer available. I was referred to "Ed Roberge" of Affordable Fans in New Hampshire (I live in the Philadelphia area). I had bought a part and was unsure of making the repair. Ed guided me through the replacement of the defective part by phone at no profit to himself. Ed is a knowledgeable serviceman and what?s more important, He puts the customer first? The way service used to be.

He was very efficient and competent. Besides doing the fan removal and installation, he also will mail parts anywhere in the country if needed, so took the old fan parts to be re-used if possible. Mr. Roberge is an excellent resource for any information on ceiling fans and is a licensed electrician. I wish I had found him sooner.
