chimney repair
+ -1 moreThis company was responsive, showed up on time for the initial quote, and clearly explained the process of what they would need to do to get the fireplace up and running. It was a messy job but they were extremely clean. They stuck with the quote (which was lower than another company) and took exactly four days to do the job start to finish, which is what they promised. It is one of the best investments we ever made. We live in an old Victorian house and the fireplace had been closed for years. It works beautifully, has a great draw and is easy to maintain. These guys were great.
Description of Work: Reopened, repaired and lined our fireplace in our 1870s house.

+ -1 moreCalled and spoke with Steve, the proprietor. Very helpful, informative about his service. Told him I wanted to call around as I originally thought he was the same company I had used 5 years prior. Realized after checking with competitors he was by far the best value and flexible to our schedule. Would recommend and use again.

chimney sweep
+ -1 moreSteve was prompt, showed up on schedule, did all the work in a little over an hour. I'm an engineering professor and what he said to me about how my chimney was working made sense and matched my understanding of it all. Nice guy. He did accidentally get a smudge on a nearby sofa, but that was partially my fault for not moving it out of the way first. No complaints.
Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected a two flue chimney. One flue for an oil-fired forced hot air furnace, the other for a fireplace in which I burn wood.
