We originally hired Fred Howe to replace an old double deck porch with new screened in porch and liked him so much we had him do a bunch of other things that needed to be done. On his recommendation we hired GW Kitchen to redo our kitchen and baths and Fred did all of the carpentry work involved in those remodeling projects. We highly recommend Fred for any of you carpentry needs. He can do it all and he does a beautiful job. Fred arrives early in the morning and goes right to work - very organized and industrious. We also hired Fred's son to paint the porch and outside of the house, and he has the same great work ethic as his dad. It is kind of difficult to say how much we really paid, as we kept adding on to the work as they went along - but whatever we paid it was worth every penny.

Excellent, their work ethic is outstanding, arriving on time, if not early every day. They are extremely polite as well as pleasant to talk with. Due to my husband's work schedule, we had limitations they had to work around and they accomodated our tight schedule without any issue. Of course the important part is the quality of their work and we found it to be top notch. Our house is older so has many quirks, they did an excellent job adjusting to them and making them near invisible. The price quoted was maintained - no hidden or surprise costs when we received the final bill. We will surely call them for future projects. The job went smooth from start to finish. They answered any questions that I had and were very professional.

We purchased all of our materials from local lumberyards and home improvement stores and Howe Builders built the home from the foundation up. They were extremely dependable and worked every day. They made design suggestions that were great and they were very meticulous. At the end of every day, they cleaned the site. There was never any construction material strewn around the site. Their finishing touches ( like building an enclosure for the electric meter that blends into the overall construction) make them a cut above. You can see pride in their craftsmanship. When we had a tradesman leave without finishing the job, Fred and Josh completed the hanging of our ceiling fans. They came up with a solution to mount one of the ceiling fans on a 45 degree ceiling. It looks great! We will always have high praise for these conscientious craftsmen!
