The technician arrived as scheduled to perform preventive maintainence on our furnace. When completed my wife asked for the Angie's List coupon discount of $10.00, which I had confirmed when setting up the appointment. The technician advised that he did not know anything about that and we were charged at full cost. I contacted the office, not so much to be credited for the $10.00 discount, but just to advise that their technician should have responded with something to the effect of "let me call the office and check on that", rather than advise he knew nothing about it. The staffer that I spoke to completely understood and advised that he would send me a refund check for the $10.00. I told him that wasn't really necessary, but the check arrived yesterday. I would not hesitate to recommend Joyce to my neighbors and will certainly use them again in the near future.

We had a problem that water was mild warm when taking shower on our second floor, even though we turned the switch to the hottest. The first floor water did not get hot either. We first called Heritage yesterday since they installed a new boiler for us 3.5 years ago. Heritage technician came in and checked yesterday and gave us a list of parts to be replaced. The total cost would be more than $1300! We did not have them fixed, but still Heritage charged us $99. Today we called Joyce Cooling & Heating, Inc. Joyce came in around noon time and identified the problem right away. He used his mighty tool and fixed the problem in several minutes. Now hot water comes out as we need. Amazingly, it only cost us $79.99! Joyce saved us thousands of dollars!! We are so appreciated his honest and quality work! In fact, this is our 2nd time using Joyce Cooling and heating Inc. Last time we had a problem with air-conditioning. He also fixed the problem and charged a very fair price. I would definitely recommend Joyce Cooling and Heating Inc. to my friends.

It was a full day's job overall, and they were very professional about how they did their work. They did an excellent job, spent a great deal of time bleeding all the valves in the type of heating vents that I have in a 65 yr old house to make sure the furnace was heating properly after they finished installing the tank, and replaced the thermostat.. They made sure that they explained in detail what was done regarding the tank, what I would be expecting from it so that I understood how it works. They left the entire area where they worked spotless afterwards. The two young men who did the work were gracious, extremely helpful and could teach many others what great customer service is all about. I will be having them attend to my furnace from now on, and will never hesitate to recommend their work to anyone who needs help with their heating problems. My type of heating doesn't allow for central air, but I cannot imagine them doing anything but the best job.

He was here on time, excellent service. I had them come in since I was told by another company ( who shall be nameless) that my combustion exhaust motor was failing and probably needed to be replaced soon. Based on the price.... of >$1200 I may want consider a new system since this one is 13 years old. Joyce Cooling and Heating came in to inspect and evaluate my system. Everything is fine, no issues found and if they had to replace the combustion exhaust motor, the price is in the $300 range. HUGE difference!!!!!! I will be using them again and I will probably be getting a maintenance contract with them.

We have a Gambrel house therefore with a very low attic space which is where the Trane unit is installed. It is a miserable space to work in and the guys never complained. They needed to make sure that everything was level up there so the drain pan would work correctly because the house sinks a bit in the middle due to settling over the years. Joyce C &H have been servicing our AC unit for at least 10 years despite the fact that the previous company that installed it did a terrible job causing many of the issues that Joyce has had to deal with. They could have easily refused dealing with the system. I highly recommend them.

Innovative, knowledgable and capable. I had 3 providers look at the house and spec a central a/c system, there were challenges since the house was built in the 1800's and had a newer addition. They were pretty creative and designed a system that maintained the aesthetics of the home and the system is quiet and efficient. On time and got the job done when they said it would be done, actually sooner.

I was very impressed with the projected work to be performed and extremely impressed with the work performed by the installers. They followed up and made certain that everything was working properly.

The crew arrived on time and was completed within the day. The basement looked like a bomb went off during the install, but at the end it as cleaner than when they arrived. The crew was promt and curteous and did a professional job. I would recommend them to my family and freinds.

Called to make an appointment. Was able to get service within a week. The service professional seamed to be very knowledgeable and performed the service work in a very thorough manner. Answered all my questions as I had just recently purchased the house. Joyce was the installer 10 years ago and had been maintaining the unit for the previous owner. I was very satisfied with the customer service person that I talked to. Very friendly and seemed very service oriented.

I am so glad I chose Joyce Cooling & Heating for my furnace and A/C unit installation. The technicians showed up when they were suppose to, performed the work that was stated in the quote and, in the end, charged me not a penny more. They were professional and polite. There was an unforeseen obstacle that took a little extra time/labor and a few added supplies on their part but they didn?t try to charge me extra for it. When the work was completed, the installers cleaned up everything; you wouldn?t have even known they were there. Getting what you want, when you want it and for the price you were quoted ? it doesn?t get any less stressful than that!

It went very well with one issue. They did not remove the plug from the drain line and the AC shut off because the condensation filled the overflow pan. They came back the next day took the plug out. I was sorry to bring them back but it proved out the emergency shut off. No problems since then. I will have them back to replace a secondary AC unit in the near future.

Our technician was super friendly and very knowledgeable! We wanted to get information of some things we might be interested in and he guided us perfectly.. we were very pleased!

I have waited for a year to do this review. A year ago, my water heater was broken after 18 years. I contacted Joyce and another one, and decided to go with Joyce because of brands and price they offered. It costed $9000 with $2000 from energy save rebate. They replaces water heater and gas boiler as scheduled. It took them two long and hot days. As I expected, something could go wrong in those conditions. The boiler shut itself down after 10 days. After a week monitoring, I called the service and was told "this should never happen". They came in and fixed it. A week later it happened again, the service men came next day. It has not happened as I am typing. it happened because of left-over air in the pipes. Because I changed the boiler and heater, the heating system needed to wait until winter to test actually. When the winter came, I found that my loft area was not heated. I emailed the service, and they scheduled someone fix it. The above is my experience with Joyce. They are very polite and responsive particularly when things went wrong. I rated them A, and B on quality because I think they can improve their installation work via training, so you can judge them based on my experience.

I did not end up using this company but I certainly would have if their time frame worked for me. I called to have a gas line added to my laundry room for our dryer since our new house has an electric hookup. They were very honest and told me that they were booked out six weeks and even recommended another company since I couldn't be without a dryer for that long.

I was very happy with the service that I received. They came when they said, I was called and asked if he could come early (I was at work and had someone meet them for me), how nice! The tune up was great and I knew that I needed new piping from my furnace to outside. I received a call with a review of what was needed first! I came home and the area around the furnace was spotless! I have never had central air, I now understand why a tune up is important and will do one every year, again it was explained to me after asking. I figured I may as well have a furnace check up as well. They give you a deal if you do both at once, HOW NICE! I am very happy with this company and I will be using them from now on. I love using local honest companies and that is what you will get with Tony Joyce Cooling and Heating. Tony contacted me personally right away after my inquiry. Found Joyce on Angies list. Called them to discuss a leak with my LP water heater with power vent. I had gotten nowhere with either Sears or Lowes. They sent someone over to look at it and gave me a quote that same afternoon. I had gotten another quote but that was over the phone. Made an appointment for the following morning. They showed up around 8:45a and were done by 10:15a with the new heater including some PVC adaptive pipe needed for the power vent. So far so good.

Joyce provided a very competitive estimate and we chose them to install a new Lennox furnace and humidifier. They arrived on time and had the furnace up and running before the day was out. They also furnished us with a new wifi thermostat. While I would recommend these people without hesitation the only negative thing I can say is that they left my basement floor a real mess with oily soot that they tracked all over. I haven't been able to get it cleaned up. The Lennox furnace performs better than our old furnace and we get heat in rooms that were difficult to heat before. The humidifier, however, cannot get the humidity in my house above about 32% which isn't much better than it is without it. Update 4/5 After Tony Joyce read my last review I received a call from Shaun the very next morning. They were very concerned that they had left my basement floor a mess. They scheduled an appointment to come back and clean up my floor. They showed up right on time and spent almost two hours scrubbing my floor clean. No one would go wrong using the Joyce guys for their heating/cooling needs

Called in a "help"mode...outdoor temps around zero..furnace not working properly. they returned our call within 10 minutes and arrived in about 30 minutes. Furnace back working , job completed professionally !
