My wife and I just had Joyce Cooling and Heating install duct work, air conditioning unit (Lennox) as well as a ductless mini split in our lower level. We received three bids for the project and selected Joyce for several reasons including, the salesman (Abe) that helped us and his level of responsiveness and consistent communication. We also liked the brands that Joyce partners with and installs - Lennox and Mitsubishi and from my research are the two best brands on the market. Our positive experience continued after we made the selection to hire Joyce for this large (4 day) project. They scheduled us in within days of making the decision and showed up early the first day (big bonus points in my book). The caliber of professionalism, courteousness, thoroughness and communication was present in every aspect of their work and across all of their employees. After each day they cleaned the work area and made sure it was left the way they found it. They completed the job earlier than expected and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Each employee we interacted with at Joyce was polite, informative, friendly and knowledgeable. We have shared our positive experience with everyone we have spoken to about our recent home improvement and am a firm believer in voting with my dollars for businesses that deserve it and Joyce has won our vote. I placed a call at 8am and there was a tech at my door at 8:34am the same day and they fixed my problem at No Charge! This is a Fantastic Company I have been dealing with them for 7 years and all my business goes to them they are the very best from the person that answers the phone to the service techs and managers Excellent Customer Service all around. If you don't use Joyce cooling and heating you are truly missing out!!!

They billed me for the labor to replace a defective thermocouple that Joyce had replaced just a few weeks earlier, after making two previous trips for issues of no heat. Total cost of two trips, parts and labor, over $600 ......then another $80 to replace the defective new thermocouple they installed. Sounds like scam......

Being a women looking for a furnace and having "no" heating, I was afraid that I might be price gouged. Abe from Joyce gave me quit the education on furnaces and listened to me when I had concerns about several hot / cold spots. I even had an appointment for the furnace install before I committed to buying from Joyce, made me feel like they wanted my business. The furnace has been installed for about a month and I love it. Soooo quiet, no more hot / cold spots and I was able to drop my house temperature by 2 degrees

The replacement was performed by a two man team who made the change over very smoothly. Several fittings, valves and an expansion tank were added to bring the new unit up to modern standards. All work was completed in under two hours, and with no problems. Very professional

For some reason my thermostat and furnace were not "talking" to one another and the heat shot up to 80F before I realized I had an issue. I replaced the thermostat but that did not work. So on a Friday, yet again, the heat was creeping up toward 75F and I called Joyce. The technician and I went over a few scenarios and he said tbh if it was what he thought it was they did not have the part until Monday and I'd save $ by manually turning on and off the furnace. That was very helpful. The problem was not as simple as they had imagined and after the initial visit they had to return two more times to address the issue. I was only charged for the initial visit making the two return visit costs "on them". Beyond helpful and beyond professional. All around a class act!

This was my first annual maintenance on my new Lennox gas furnace. Alex showed up on time and went to work immediately while clearly explaining to me the maintenance he was doing on the furnace. He clearly and thoroughly answered any questions I had. He even took off his shoes when going up into the house to adjust the thermostat. He did a great job and I look forward to him maintaining my furnace and ac units in the future.

Salesmen Abe came to my home and explained all options and any available rebates and then promptly e-mailed me an estimate. Price was good and set up installation one week later. Installers Mitch & Bob showed up on time and worked non-stop till job was complete. They then clearly explained how to operate the thermostat and change the furnace filter. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with there work. They left the work area clean and were very professional. I have since e-mailed Abe with a few questions and he responded quickly and all rebate forms have been sent in. Excellent service and I look forward to them doing the annual service on my new system.

Great, prompt, friendly and efficient

The company was exceptional. They did all they promised and more. When they were installing, we didn't have all the proper wiring in place for the new unit and they included that in the job and didn't charge anymore than the initial quote. They were quick, efficient and most of all very courteous and professional. They left my home as clean as it was when they started and did the job in one day they stated it would take. I would highly recommend to anyone needing Air conditioning or HVAC needs... Rick

I own an older cape that was built in 1959. My wife and I have been living with window air conditioners for the past 13 years, as the our house has no ductwork to accommodate conventional central air conditioning. We did some research on high velocity, micro-duct A/C systems as an alternative to conventional central air systems. We heard about Joyce Cooling & Heating from our next door neighbor, whose father had used them several years ago and we decided to give them a call. The salesman, Abe, came out the next day to determine project scope and provide a quote (scope can be quite complicated depending on layout of house). Abe went a step further and brought the owner, Tony, out to the house a few days later and together they explained the project in detail and provided us with ideas/options on how to configure the system. The project began on June 13 and was completed on June 16. The installation team (mechanic - Bob and apprentice - Mitch) was polite, courteous and most efficient. The amount of work that they accomplished in 3 days far exceeded my expectations. They left my house immaculate at the end of each workday. High velocity A/C systems are not cheap, however, my wife and I could not be happier with our investment in this quality product. The entire Joyce team is clearly focused on customer satisfaction and they made this an enjoyable experience for us. I would definitely recommend Joyce Cooling & Heating to others.

The installation went smoothly. The technicians arrived on time, answered my questions completely and clearly and removed all debris. Although I received a lower quote from another company, I went with Joyce because of my past experiences with them on furnace related service calls.

They came next day and were very punctual. All work done very well by very professional and personable reps.

Water heater failed on 2/17. Called Joyce that day to walk through options to replace the aging system and get an indirect water heater. They were on site with 2+ crews the next morning and had us up and running within the day. My wife has noticed some sputtering since the new system went in and Joyce is currently working with us to identify the root cause and resolve. I am grateful that they were able to address my situation in such a timely and professional manner and would recommend them in the future for anyone who finds themselves in the unfortunate situation we did.

It went great. They ran tests and changed out parts on the furnace. Turns out, nothing on the furnace nor was the thermostat the problem. Frozen pipes was next explanation. We tracked down the area this could have happened. 2 busted pipes all frozen up. They cut and replaced the broken pipes. We put a space heater on and let the area warm up. Later that night, put on the heat and it all worked with no leaking. The guys were great that came out and they got there within hours of my call. This was extraordinary seeing as this is a very busy time for them when the temperatures are well below freezing for days at a time.

y were punctualI called Joyce for furnace work in early January 2016, based on an Angie's list recommendation. The pilot light would not stay lit. They replied quickly and came when they said they would. I was told at that my 30m year old furnace was on its way out and my 30 year old water heater was probably not far behind. They gave me an estimate and today they did the work of removing the old units and putting in new ones. They were punctual, courteous, and professional. The arrived at 8:30 and left at 5:30. They cleaned up after themselves and when the water heater was not working quite right they made a run back to the shop for a replacement part. NOw in the half hour since they left thing are going well but we will see how thing go as time moves on. I expect to post an update in a few months.

The technician arrived as scheduled to perform preventive maintainence on our furnace. When completed my wife asked for the Angie's List coupon discount of $10.00, which I had confirmed when setting up the appointment. The technician advised that he did not know anything about that and we were charged at full cost. I contacted the office, not so much to be credited for the $10.00 discount, but just to advise that their technician should have responded with something to the effect of "let me call the office and check on that", rather than advise he knew nothing about it. The staffer that I spoke to completely understood and advised that he would send me a refund check for the $10.00. I told him that wasn't really necessary, but the check arrived yesterday. I would not hesitate to recommend Joyce to my neighbors and will certainly use them again in the near future.
