Description of Work: I needed a new oil furnace. My old system was over 30 years old. The old furnace died on Monday and Tuesday they were able to install a new one. They were great. They started at 9 in the morning and I had heat by 3 in the afternoon. I would and will use them again.

Description of Work: There was some confusion in the appointment scheduling process. I was confirmed for an afternoon appointment, and then got calls from two different technicians in the am stating they would be over shortly. I also found the price expensive just to change a pressure relief valve on a boiler, however all plumbing and electrical services are over priced. The tech was nice and did quality work.

Description of Work: The humidifier on my furnace wasn't working. Joyce Cooling came out and repaired it. I was very pleased with the work they did. They were prompt. And professional.

Description of Work: I had a difficult to diagnose problem with my furnace. They came quickly, found the problem, made realistic and practical recommendations with good explanations. They solved my immediate problems at a reasonable cost and made good recommendations for future follow up. I will use them again.

After some discussion, we decided on the proper unit and also decided that it made sense to replace the 30 year old gas furnace at the same time. | |I felt that the price he quoted was lower than I had expected. Although I did not go on an elaborate chase of various quotes, after talking to people in the complex that have had similar work done, I am very comfortable that I got a very good price. | |The technicians arrived at the time thay had specified and had the installation completed by mid-afternoon. | |The AC works great, and does not seem to use excessive electricity, although I'll know better when we have more hot weather. | |I was very pleased with the whole process- the original evaluation, the installation and the quality of the new equipment.

Description of Work: They had to rewire the relay for my HVAC system. It is a 31 yr old system and they got it to work. I am very grateful. I wrote a message to them through Angie's list. I was really worried that I might need a new system and with the heating season upon us it was great concern. I got a response las night and they came today. These men were very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Joyce Cooling and Heating.

Description of Work: We called Tony Joyce to come over and quote a new furnace and a run of about 10" of forced hot water heat added to our basement zone. He was right on time and he walked us through all of the options regarding the newer high efficiency 96% furnaces vs. the standard 82% furnaces. After talking about our current usage and needs we both agreed that the 82% would be the way to go. We had 3 other quotes done by other vendors and 1 was a bit more, one was a bit less and the 3rd was almost exactly the same so we went with Joyce. He was up front on costs, schedules and he's local and that means a lot to me. Knowing we can count on them to be around if we ever need them is important. When it came time to start the work he sent over a total of 4 guys! They started at 8:30am and were done by 4:30pm and you'd ever know they were even there. They were a loud group of guys but you could tell they were having a good time and worked very well together. If we had young kids at home i'm certain they would have been as quiet as we needed them to be as they were all super nice guys. They even helped me load the old furnace into my neighbors truck which they certainly didn't have to do but they never hesitated when asked. These are truly great folks from the top down; thanks for a job well done!

Description of Work: I had Joyce install a new 98% gas furnace in my home. They were very responsive. The technicians showed up on time and were professional. Price was reasonable as I had 2 other quotes. One nice thing they did was to prepare the rebate forms for us so all we had to do was sing and mail them. The furnace and thermostat are vey nice and after a month and a half we've had no problems

Description of Work: I contracted with Joyce Cooling & Heating to install a new Lennox furnace in my basement. The two installers arrived promptly at 9 AM and immediately began unloading their truck to obtain the tools they would need to first remove my old Lennox furnace. After the old furnace had been dismantled, they began to take all the old pieces out to their truck to take them away. Once that was completed, they began the process of installing the new furnace. Both gentlemen were very good about answering the many questions that I had, and they were both very professional. The whole process was finished by approximately 3:30 PM (they did take a one-hour lunch break), and the new furnace looked great! A few questions arose in my mind a week or so before the work was to begin so I simply sent an email to Mr. Joyce. And to my great surprise, he responded almost immediately. In today's world, that almost never happens and I was very impressed. I can see why this company has received so many good reports from their customers. They know what they're doing! I plan to have this company come back yearly for a thorough boiler cleaning so that I may get many many good years out of this new unit. All in all, I was very satisfied with the entire process - from the first meeting to get an estimate to the completed installation.
