Extremely professional, courteous and hard working crew! Highly recommend!

I took the day off from work, so I could watch, as well as be there if they had any questions. I met Dave and his crew first thing in the morning and pointed out my well location and reminded them which 5 trees to cut. It was amazing to watch. The had a 75 ' bucket truck, which worked out great with the warmer winter we had. I had other quotes, to use a crane, but was concerned that my driveway might not like a 70 ton truck parked on it. Dave's price was the best, out of the 5 quotes I received. I had him do work for me about 12 years ago, and was amazed when I got home that day, and saw the trees gone and no mess. I was sure glad I called him again. It was amazing to watch, despite the frigid temps that particular morning. They strategically parked their trucks and started trimming. The branches were mulched on site and the crew was continuing to clean the ground to keep it safe to work, and to keep the whole crew busy. They would rope off the tall branches and lower it to the ground, and when cutting down the main portions of the tree, they roped that t make sure it went in the right direction, and to move the buck operator to a safer location. Since the logging truck couldn't pick up the large sections immediately, it was arranged that he would come back. When I was concerned about the ground getting soft, the truck came after 2 very cold days to pick up big sections of the tree. The driver was also nice enough t move the sections , that I was going to keep, into piles around the edges of my front yard. In short, I was extremely happy with the price, the work they did , the punctuality, and I would have no problem hiring them a third time. Great Job!!!

Poorly. They broke my mailbox in early summer. One of their workers placed my mailbox on the broken post hoping "I wouldn't notice" The spouse of the owner even said " It sounds like one of our guys!" I guess small claims court is next.

The men worked continuously despite the heat and muggy conditions as well as the soft ground from the previous night's heavy rain that had almost derailed the proceedings. They were at all times polite, considerate, and extremely professional checking in to clarify instructions if needed. They never took anything for granted and always explained why a particular operation might need to be modified. I would also like to add that Mr. Hirko took the time to communicate and coordinate directly with the fencing installer who was following the tree removal, and, regardless of the rain, rearranged his schedules to add an extra day, which kepy my overall project on track. He is a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to doing more business with Hirko Tree Services in the futures. I highly recommend his company and its services.

My husband was very pleased. Their prices are on par with everyone else. I will use them in the future if necessary.

The company did not provide an estimate at the time they checked the property and when we received the invoice we were in disbelief. On first contact the owner reviewed the invoice and admitted they had charged us for an extra hour. I refused to pay the invoice in writing and after speaking to the owner again I realized they were charging us double $ for the hour since it was a state emergency (ice storm hit the state). He was very contradicting during the conversation. I then calculated what the "normal" amount would have been and send them a check for half what they asked. They took it and I never heard from them again.

They were done in a day in a half, and they left just what I wanted them to. They were prompt, they were good, and I liked them.
