Great - from beginning to end. He did everything he said he was going to do and he did it right.

I contacted this business because they were so highly recommended here on Angie's List. I wanted to hire them to do a custom bathroom/tile installation which has a $15k budget. They refused to even look at my project once I mentioned that I had already purchased some of the tile. They told me they were 'already booked', and I said I was in no rush, I was more interested in hiring someone with a good reputation. Then they said I was too far from their location (14 miles), whereas they had previously said that it was not a problem. Call them if you want your time wasted.

It didn't. Couldn't even get a quote. Wasn't professional enough to respond.

Nice showroom. Nice people. Estimate was considerably higher than everyone else.

The winter of 2015 was a very memorable one for our church. We had numerous ice dams that poured water into the church and damaged 11 rooms. We were in a crisis for several months. We hired Gregory J Home Design to replace carpets throughout our church. They were very professional, efficient and fun to work with. From the time we called for an estimate to the time the job was completed it took less than a week and a half. Greg the owner came out measured the job and his installer John and his crew came a few days later to install. Greg was very professional as well as his crew. I would highly reccommend these people!!! I will definatly use them again should the need arise. Not only do they do flooring but kitchens and baths.

The owner Gregg helped us a lot. He helped us pick the carpet and the hardwood floor. His installers did a great job. We've received several compliments on the work. I highly recommend him. They initially came out to do all of the measurements. John, was very cordial and very friendly. We mentioned that we were selling a king size bed and he even put us in touch with someone who bought it from us. He gave us great advice. The hardwood floor installers were friendly as well and gave us advice on how to maintain the floors. They left us some pieces of the carpet and hardwood. Gregg himself came by a week later, did a walk through and made sure we were very happy.

From the very beginning, Greg was wonderful. He promptly returned my call and was personally out within the week to take measurements and explain the options for the install. He was very thorough and up front with us about what exactly he was planning to do, telling us what needed to be done and what he simply recommended be done, as well as what would look best. He provided prices for all these options, and we ended up going with the most comprehensive option. Once we put down a deposit, the materials were ordered, and once they arrived at Greg's warehouse, we scheduled the install. Installation was great, the guys that did the actual work were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything they were doing as they were doing it, again giving a great level of transparency to the process. The install was supposed to take 3 days, but only took 2 because the sub-floor was in better shape than predicted. The finished product looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier! We have a few other projects around the house that we plan to do with Gregory J Flooring in the future. Not the cheapest, but the highest quality work out there!

While the price was a little more than we expected. They were prompt, professional, and most importantly for us, finished the job on time. The floors are beautiful, and the carpeting is great. I'd definitely do business with them again.

From the time I went to their store to the time the carpet was installed was a matter of a few weeks. Gregory J himself came and did the estimate and walked us through the entire process. His workers arrived on time, were very neat, and the job was done to our complete satisfaction. I even rec'd a call after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. These folks know how to treat a customer right. I would use them again in a heart beat!

The owner is extremely honest, professional and a joy to work with. Once the crew came on the premises a few changes were needed and the company was willing to make changes within minimal impact to schedule. This company did a great job of estimating work to be done and completing the job timely and efficiently. The company worked clean and neat. There were some minor schedule hickups, but overall Gregg's Flooring did everything possible to make this a good experience. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We were impressed from start to finish. Gregory and his team were helpful at every step, from ideas to measure to installation. This must have been a small job for them, but we were never treated like a small job. Being new to the area, it was a delight to work with such pleasant professionals who clearly enjoy what they do, and we will certainly use Gregory J again and recommend them to others.

The flooring was installed in a timely manner and the end result was top quality. Two years later they still look great. Would definitely recommend them for any type of flooring.

Honest advice during the carpet selection process. Excellent, attentive service during installation. The installation even included the installers moving the furniture. And Greg insisted on a follow up visit after everything was done just to be sure there were no problems or hidden issues.

NICE folks! Prompt. Worked with me and the dogs to make sure we could get through the kitchen to the bathroom and the back door Arranged for man to unhook/hook up the gas stove. Did a careful, masterful job all around. Moved appliances and furniture and put them back. Cleaned up completely. LOOKS NICE!! I will use them again for rugs in hall this year.

Great experience from selecting the flooring to the installation and follow-up. Pricing was reasonable. Installation was fast and professional. We have used Gregory J twice and will continue to go back for flooring needs as well as for a backsplash project we are thinking about.

It went okay. I was satisfied. I wasn't happy with a couple of things with the kitchen floor and they were going to come back and fix it. Then my mother got sick so I never followed up but they did say they would take care of it.

Absolutely unreal the quality of the end result and the fact that Gregg Genuinely cares. It's like we have a new house. The process took a full week, but we had 1,000 square feet of flooring replaced, not including the bathroom and the landing for our common entryway. We picked a floor and Greg came to the house with options and we ended up choosing his. Installation was 5.5 days, start to finish. Greg also brought tiles and grout that made it so it's like I have the best house ever. I recommend Gregory J's. See the pictures.

I'm an avid DIY'r and have been planning on a renovation of our second bath off the bedroom for several years. We started the project about a month ago and have been struggling with it. We bought most of our tile from another provider (Artistic Tile just up the road on Amherst St.) but had difficulty finding a reasonably priced tile for the feature wall. They suggested a $75/sf tile that looked great but was clearly beyond our budget. While they were pleasant enough they didn't seem to have much flexibility and prices seemed generally higher than I'd seen elsewhere I had been looking for some unmodified thinset recommended by Schluter, the mfg of the waterproofing system we are using for the shower when I noticed the new sign in front of Gregory J. flooring and design center referring to Schluter products and I decided to stop in to see if they had something I could use. All I can say is it was the best thing I have done on this entire project. First of all when I asked about the thinset I was introduced to Spencer (the warehouse manager) who recommended the Laticrete 317 which I had read about in the online forums as one of the best I could use for this purpose. It was also less expensive than the equivilent I could get if I special ordered it from Lowes or Home Depot and waited a week and about 30% less than the product that Artistic Tile sells. When I mentioned that I had come up a small piece short on my Ditra underlayment and asked if I could purchase a 1 ft strip he offered to give me what I needed at no charge. Spencer also took the time today to discuss some of the issues encountered on the project and made some recommendations on how to do things in a cost effective way. Then I spoke with Louise while purchasing the thinset and mentioned that I was still looking for some tile for the feature wall. She has been absolutely fantastic. She helped me find a tile for the feature wall ...one that we can afford and looks great. When I came in to pick it up today I mentioned that I might need a strip of the Schluter trim for the shower curb and she patiently explained that this would probably not be a good idea and that what we need is a solid piece of marble for the threshold to avoid eventual seapage into the grout that could potentially damage the curb. I had read this but thought it would be too expensive and figured that the waterproofing would prevent any damage to the curb. Her patience and professionalism convinced me and when she showed me a piece next to the sample tile I had with me I knew that it is not only the right thing to do but will also look much better than what I had planned. Overall this has been the best experience I've ever had with a vendor. Everyone I met from the newest person answering the phone and taking messages to the sales and warehouse staff were knowledable, helpful and courteous. My only regret is that I didn't find Gregory J's before I purchased the majority of the tile for this project.

We have been their customer for years and they are fantastic. We went and talked to them and they have sent home lots of samples for me. They have at least two or three designers that can tell you everything about the carpeting or tiling that you want to use. They let you bring on samples and then come to the house and personally measure. They had a lot of good advice to give me about colors. They're also fantastic about installations and their pricing is really good. They send out newsletters to you to tell you what's going on and what is on special. They provide zero regret guarantee and residential lifetime installation warranty.

These people did a great job of listening to exactly what I was trying to accomplish with the house and provided what I needed at a price that was reasonable. They did not try to add more than what I wanted. The time from estimate to completing the work was four weeks. The installers were at the site when expected and completed the work on time and without issue.
