DIRECT SATELLITE TV

I had Direct TV for a year. The actual service for the TV was fine. The genie's ability to tape multiple programs was great. The biggest problem came when trying to disconnect my service as I had to move twice because of family problems. When I signed up, I made to sure to ask what would happen if i moved into a highrise that didn't allow direct tv. I was told that that it would not be a problem and I would not have to pay a cancellation fee for a 2 year contract. Well when I moved into a high rise I spent hours on the phone arguing with a CSR until they sent someone out check my building. I guess that if the building can get service but does not allow it, I would have to pay a fee. So a tech comes out and tells me not to worry because I am not in the "direct line of site." Well I wait and wait, and then call them again. A supervisor came to the outside of my building and determined I was in the line fo site so I had to pay a cancellation fee. Finally after speaking to a manager they agreed to waive the cancellation fee just because the tech had told me that I shouldn't be charged, even though she pointed out that I should have been, Just a massive waste of time and money. Never again.

I am happy with their services, but I do think that they are a little bit over priced.
