Power tool grinding of concrete left thick layer of material in pool which needed to be removed. Initial resurfacing looked good for about one year, but one edge developed cracks and surface came apart. Despite repeated calls, certified mail, and visits to company, representative never returned to repair damage. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone needing concrete pool apron repair.

Terrible! I am requesting my money back! Paid for a pool opening left message(s) on their phone recorder no one ever picked up or returned my calls not even sure if they are still in business.

Jim is the best! He was exactly the type of person we wanted to work with as first time pool owners looking for help. I knew we needed a new liner, filter, and looking for someone to help understand all the different options available. He reviewed everything discussed all the pros and cons with other options and at the end of the day we installed a similar system he uses with his own pool and we couldn't be happier. He also helped coordinate the water delivery. At the start I had called 2 other companies for quotes. They all came in at the same price for the liner and we went with Jim because of his personal touch and he took the time to educate me on the different options, patient, and was really knowledgable. He was also very honest on letting us know what we needed and not trying to up-sell or present other options that weren't necessary. I've already referred one co-worker and will certainly refer others. Jim is the only guy we'll call for our pool care going forward.

We went with Creative Pools for the work because their quote was competitive with others we received and Creative Pools had experience with these type of jobs, i.e. taking the proper precautions when working around pools. Jim and his crew did an overall excellent job. They jack-hammered up and disposed of the old concrete. They took care to not get any debris in the pool. Not an easy task for this type of work. They poured the new pad and agreed to wheel-barrel the concrete in from the road for a slight up-charge so that the trucks wouldn't have to drive on our lawn. They also came back and re-installed the anchors for our pool winter cover after the concrete had set. When we put the winter cover on last month, we noticed that one of the anchors they installed was not aligned correctly. Jim readily agreed to come back out and install the new anchor. Jim and his crew were polite and professional the whole time they were on the job. I would certainly recommend them for any work involving pools or patio deck repairs or installation.

Called them on Wednesday 8/13/14 and left a detailed message with my name and phone number. It is now Sunday 8/17/14 and I have not heard back from them. To me I find this inconsiderate. Would I use them in the future........maybe. However if they cannot return a simple phone call how would they handle a difficult job of filling in a pool? I wonder. I am looking around for another company.

I know they just opened it but I am not entirely sure because I wasn't there. He comes out and he walks through with my boyfriend with what he's going to do with the pool. He was really impressed. The appointment schedule is about 48 hours.

They are responsive, polite and do a wonderful cleanup. They are very responsible, honest and I am very pleased with them. They quote a very fair price and they don’t pressurize us. The crew was excellent.

Job started late, but complete on time, and the pool looks great

Jim and his team were fantastic! A very professional experience from start to finish, we could not be happier with the final product. A very rainy spring delayed the work on several occasions, but Jim kept us informed at each step. His prices were competitive (and significantly lower than some bidders). He definitely knows his stuff and gave us several options for ways to repair the damage. The color of the new cement of course doesn't match the old cement, but the guys made it look very nice and intentional. If a tree ever falls into our pool again, Jim is the person we'd call!

Did a super job, his men stayed on site until I was completely satisfied that everything was working properly, I would highly recommend Creative Pools and I normally do not give out recommendations of any kind. They even called to remind me to send in the 25 year manufacturer's warranty registration. Again I would highly recommend Creative Pools....

It went fairly well. Jim, the owner, was quick to respond, reliable, and professional. The overall quality of the work was very good. .

The worker and work were both excellent! He does not have high pressure sales and assists you with finding the best fit for you. One that that really impressed me was how he is on top of what still needed to be done without me having to remind him first. We haven’t had a chance to use the pool since they completed the repairs at the end of the year, but the cover held up all winter long. Jim is easy to get a hold of and is very prompt in returning phone calls if you have to leave a message. They were very prompt and did a great job.

They gave me a break on price. Everything I needed done, they've done it. I would tell others to use them.

Actual work was good, gave good tips for pool care. BUT 1/2 payment was made and no show on the expected (contracted) work date. No answer to phone calls. Finally showed up and was told he was really busy. Overall work was good though.

Jimmy Largy oversaw everthing from beginning to end and was always available for questions. He also raised several excellent ideas that I had not considered during the project that saved me money and future maintenance. I was very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend.

I could not be happier. The owner responded immediately to my inquiry, and met with us the next Sunday morning. Many of the companies I had contacted took a week or more, some nearly 3 weeks, to get back to me. He was direct with us about the cost of all the many options available, never once attempted to talk us into a more expensive option. We knew the first day that Jim was someone we would feel comfortable working with; when he gave us the prices we were very pleased. He and his crew came when they said they would, did what they said they would do, and as busy as spring and early summer are in the pool business he always responded immediately when we called or needed him to come over, even coming one Sunday morning to help us figure out a problem with our pool filter system, which was not even any part of the work he did. Not only do I recommend Creative Pools highly, but we will use Jim next year when we get a new filter system for our pool, and have given his card to anyone we know who has a pool. It is refreshing to have such a positive experience.
