I had spent months trying to get contractors to come out and just give me an estimate for the work I needed done with extremely limited results, so I wasn't too impressed with other contractors on Angie's list. However I did manage to locate All-Phase construction and 2 others that did come out and give me an estimate. Overall experience was very good. They met with me multiple times, came out looked over what needed to be done and provided an estimate in a timely manner. They took care of pulling all permits required. Someone was here everyday working 8 to 10 hour days. Work was completed by the deadline in the contract. Work looks good and was passed by the building inspector without any major issues. All questions and issues were responded to in a timely manner. When work was completed all scrap materials were picked up and disposed of. The only thing I felt was wrong was the cost compared to the amount of work done and materials used. I know the price was high but when all contractors are busy it is to be expected that you will pay a premium. However with that said the work was good and I'm happy with the results and overall experience of dealing with them. I would recommend them to anyone. 1 year after the work was completed the front hand rail 90° joint came apart because there was nothing inside the hollow rail to hold it together, and they refused to come fix it because it was a year old. Other than that I was satisfied with their over all work. Expensive but as stated they were one of the only contractors to actually show up.
Description of Work: Rebuild front porch, add ceilings to 3 rear porches, change out bulkhead shed door, remove and replace crumbling cement in basement foundation, replace rotting wood in basement window sills. Replaced all wood with synthetic wood.

John was very professional, he worked with me to meet my deadlines, his people were here everyday and worked more than full days to get the project done. They kept the mess to a minimum, they cleaned up after they were done, and were friendly. You could tell that his people knew their business and how to do the job right. John did everything that was written into the contract however some of the verbal items we discussed at the onset of the project were not listed on the contract so they ended up being an extra $2,000 charge over the price given. Live and learn, make absolutely certain every detail no matter how small is written in the contract. Overall the work was done on time, it looks good, everything is up to housing codes and I shouldn't need to paint anything ever again or worry about anything rotting or being eaten by insects. Overall very pleased with the results of the job. I would hire them again should the need arise and I would recommend them. The cost may be a bit more than other people but the quality of the work is good, on time, and you don't need to constantly call them asking when they will show up. You get what you pay for. Very Professional.
