Description of Work: I was very statisfied with the scheduling process and the prompt arrival of the technicians. The chimney cleaning and isnpection were completed in a timely fashion. Thorough clean up afterwards.

Description of Work: Overall quote was a bit higher than we expected, but that is compared to 'D-I-Y' which we didn't want to do either. |The $70 quote price would apply to work done, but we chose not to go forward for now. |We may still use them in the future.

Description of Work: "They arrived 21/2 hours late. They did not have a ladder long enough to get to the top of my chimney. Borrowed mine, which was 2 feet shorter than it should have been. He said they would show me a photo of the top of my chimney to go along with their quote for repair of the cap. I did not get a photo. I did get a quote of $700 to repair the cap. However, I went to the top of my chimney with a longer ladder after they left and did not see any damage to my cap. | |I am not confident they did a thorough job cleaning my flue, which is the reason I called them in the first place. I did not see how the worker performed the job from above, but as I stated, the ladder was short. And the second worker that came into my home to vacuum out the chimney as it was being cleaned from above was in the house for no more than 10 minutes. No cleaning was performed from below with any kind of brushes. |Did not hear any motor or heavy equipment running. | |My impression is that this is a company that primarily wants to find chimney repair work. I am not confident that they did a thorough job cleaning my chimney."

Description of Work: We bought a house this summer, and as the cool weather approached we needed our chimney inspected (home inspectors don't do this, I guess) and also cleaned. Two guys showed up on the appointed day - very friendly. They told us that we didn't need it cleaned - it must have been cleaned and then not used since by the previous owners. We knew we'd need to get a cap installed, and it also turned out that our crown needed to be repaired. They scheduled it right there in the house with me. A few weeks later two different guys (the masonry guys) came out and got the chimney all fixed up. They were quick and the work appears to be done well (it's on the roof, after all - but they showed us photos of the work and the cap is clearly visible from the ground.) We were satisfied and will call them again for the yearly cleanings and maintenance.

Description of Work: They rebuilt 8 courses of my chimney, relined it, capped it. I found the work unsatisfactory, poor quality, and not totally completed according to work proposal.Courses were crooked I emailed them about my feelings on the work , even took my own pictures. I called the company , owner came out the next day looked it over, said he will redo the work himself this was September 11, haven't heard from him since. No money has been paid yet 😁

Description of Work: Replaced rusted galvanized flashing and collar on chimney. They arrived promptly on time. Got right to work. Did a excellent job and cleaned up the work area. Worker was friendly and courteous.

Description of Work: Admiralty Chimney performed a video inspection of our furnace flue and installed a flexible stainless steel liner. I was impressed with their transparent and open relationship with us. They showed us everything they were concerned about, explained why it might be a problem, explained recommended solutions and described the expected benefit. I expect you could get this job done for less, but not with the same level of confidence. We are having them back in the spring to dismantle and rebuild the chimney top and install a stainless steel cap. |

Description of Work: 3 weeks earlier, thye did a thorough inspection of the Chi8nmey and showed me the areas that needed repair (reason for geting rainwater inthe fireplace), and offered me a premuin chimney cap. we then scheduled a date for the repair and quote on the spot. they actually retuerned a week earlier beciase of a cancellation, and I was available, the work was done as promised & quoted.
