Never came to do the job

I obtained 3 estimates from local vendors to sealcoat my driveway. The driveway had a significant number of cracks throughout the driveway. The quality of the job was superb. All cracks have been filled and the sealcoating effort looks very nice. The punctuality was not as quick as I had been told, but due to the rainy weather we've had recently, I'm sure it impacted their schedule. I have used Ameriseal before to seal my driveway and will continue to use them.

It didn't. I requested a quote through their website...no response. I requested information through Angie's list messaging...no response.

I have a decent sized driveway and received quotes from about 6 companies. After receiving estimates from them all, I compared the prices with the online reviews I read. While Ameriseal was the next to most expensive option (estimates ranging from $200-$450), they were the only company that clearly defined the exact services that would be performed and they had good, though not many, reviews. I decided to go with them as my comfort level was greatest based on my pre-work for this project.I wasn't disappointed. The driveway looks amazing. I'm hoping it last for 5-6 years as some reviewers have indicated their seal can last that long. NOTES: - I gave a B for price since they are in the upper tier, but there seems to be a good reason they cost a bit more. - I gave a B for responsiveness as you can expect to wait a day or two to hear back whether you email or call them. - 90% of the driveway turns out evenly layered since they use a machine. The part closed to my garage is done by hand and at first appeared a bit uneven and streaky. I was told by Ameriseal that with a few rains, the layer evens out. With a few rains since, the evening out has definitely begun. This is just something to know and expect going in.
