Everything went as expected which is what you want when you call a plumber. I will use them again in the future for sure.

After receiving several estimates from area plumbing and heating companies, J&M was hired based on their references, pricing, and general interaction. Work was done under contract and the selection of J&M was a good decision. The install team arrived the same day that the natural gas company was completing the install of a new gas line on the street and making the connection to the house. Coordination between the two worked smoothly. Work included removing an old Burnham Jubilee oil boiler and 275 gallon oil tank, constructing and painting a wall to mount a boiler and piping, connecting new gas piping to a new outdoor gas meter, installing a new high efficiency natural gas boiler with an indirect water heater, adding vent pipes and venting to the outside, increasing the diameter of a hot water pipe, and running a condensation line to drain. An outdoor reset was also included. Although not the lowest bidder, the J&M team knew exactly what to do and did their work in an effective, prompt, and professional manner. Other than doing some minor clean up after they left, I am very pleased with the functionality of the new system and the 'footprint' of the install. Another reputable plumbing professional said "looks like a very nice install." I concur and recommend J&M to anyone needing a company that listens to the client, helps shape the decision, is prompt and precise, and brings high expectations for the quality of their work. Job well done!

We needed to replace the old boiler. I called 4 plumbing companies in the area and received 4 estimates. Jand M Plumbing estimate was the lowest of them, edging another plumbing company that i used in the past. Based on excellent reviews I decided to go with Jand M even though my usual strategy is to go with known company even when my cost is slightly higher then someone else who I know nothing about. I used Angie's List recommended companies in the past and it worked great so far. One thing struck me immediately was how fast Mike went to our house to look at the job and prepare estimate. It felt as if I'm one of their best customers even though it was my first call to them. We just finished this project. Interesting note - other plumbers said it may take more than 1 day. On the other hand Mike said he can do it in one day. It turned out a slightly bigger job but Mike stuck to it and after almost 12 hours he was completely done!! It was one of the best "plumbing" experiences I've ever had. Certainly we will use them again if needed.

We live out of town and just purchased a very run down mobile home that needs a lot of TLC. J and M Plumbing and Heating had been recommended to us through another contractor doing some outside work. I cannot express how impressed we were with them. Fast, reliable, on time, free estimate and professional. When we came back up to New Hampshire after they finished the work we were amazed how great everything looked (completed the work for us without us there so we went on trust and reputation). I cannot thank Jimmy enough.

Jand M did the plumbing and installed heating of our house. Great job and flexible in making last minute tweaks. When there was a leak, shortly after we moved in, they came quickly and fixed it. They have been fast to respond for almost any problem. The most recent service was a furnace cleaning. The price was reasonable and they cleaned up well after the job was done.

When I called first they came over right away and gave me an estimate of the costs. I also got a quote from another company, which was similar, but took longer. When I gave Jand M the go ahead, they scheduled me in for a time only a week away. They estimated it would take only two days to complete, but it actually took three days, due to minor problems, and also due to an emergency call (from a school) that took one of the two workers away for most of the second day. I was happy that they took the extra time to get the furnace put in safely and correctly (and also happy that they went to fix the school emergency). Since then my furnace has been working great, and I have hot water in my tubs again! The workers were friendly and nice, and answered my questions about the furnace. I would definitely recommend them to others!

It all went like clock work. They came over and gave us an estimate. Then a week or so later they came over and replaced the water tank in the basement, then on a Sat. they came over an found the leaky hose about 10 feet from the house and replaced it.
