Description of Work: Over the past several years, my porch sunk in the middle (approx. 6" lower than either end), a sink hole formed in my walkway, just in front of my step and my step had sunken into the ground . Tall Oaks came and took a look at the situation and clearly explained what had happened (lack of support in the middle of my porch) and the sink hole caused my step to sink into the ground and pull away from the porch. And then clearly explained what work would need to take place. The porch would have to be jacked up and supported. The step would need to be removed. The paved walkway would need to be cut. The sink hole would need to be dug out and the hole supported and re-filled and then a concrete pad poured and the step replaced. I live in a town-house, so needed approval for the repair. Once approved, the work was scheduled for a week later (6/15/12 & 6/16/12) - weather dependent because of pouring concrete. The weather worked in our favor and Tall Oaks arrived on the 15th as scheduled. And the job was completed on the 16th.
