Best experience ever with a plumber. Came out quickly. Was able to figure out problem quickly. Extremely polite and reasonably pricing. Will be telling all my friends, family and business associates about him.

Very well. They came and looked at it, were able to determine the board that was an issue and replaced it. They confirmed that it was possible that it would not fix the issue long term. Within a week the same issue had occurred. They came back and confirmed that the issue was the same and it would not make sense to replace the board again. They replaced the furnace the next day and reduced the cost of the overall work by the original effort and board since it did not work as expected.

Absolute nightmare right from the start! We bought our first house around end of April 2014. Erik Kauppila, owner of A+ Plumbing & Heating, came in around the day we moved in in first week of May. He and his crew, Sean Nihan, ripped apart our 2nd floor bathroom leaving just the shower without vanity, toilet, and exposed walls. He then went to the first floor and gutted the 1st floor bathroom walls and ceiling within the first week leaving huge exposed walls, ceilings, electrical, and plumbing and all lights taken out. Erik said he had ordered the cabinets on the 2nd day after he first began demolition, which was promised to delivered 6 weeks in. 2 months into the job and still no cabinets. I continuously ask where are the cabinets and each and every time its excuses after excuses. He left my jobsite with only demolition to work on another job saying he can't do anything until the cabinets arrive only to return at the end of June after repeated request and asking when they are coming back to finish up the job. They continuously said the job won't take that long and they should be in and out within 3 weeks time. Around June 25th, he came in and ripped out the shower/tub and walls of the 2nd floor bathroom leaving us stranded without a shower for days. He would then go to begin removing the wall tiles and would call me over every 10 mins to pressure me into adding more to the job falsely claiming that there are tons of mold found in the bathroom and that we would need to replace all the floors in order to do it correctly. Being our first house, it got me concerned and I didn't want my family living under dangerous circumstances, I bought in and agreed to remove the floors. He then proceeded to remove all the flooring of the bathroom meanwhile leaving the 1st floor bathroom untouched for months and in shambles. A couple more months went by and August came around, mind you the house was left in shambles during this time with no one completed bathroom yet so far. My wife and I took showers with only subfloors of the 2nd floor bathroom, used the 1st floor toilet without any light source, and the kitchen sink to brush our teeth for 4 months now. We had continuously requested that he complete at least one bathroom for us so it would ease the inconvenience. At this time, the kitchen has not even been worked on yet. Our entire house has been filled with dust but no progress of building has been done, only demolition. Each and every day Erik would come over and spend an entire day working on a very tiny task. There was even one day where he spent and entire day and painted only a door frame. At the end of August, only the tiles were FINALLY installed but still no toilet or vanity that we told him to purchase was anywhere in sight and installed. The upstairs bathroom he went ahead without our consent and ordered a completely different vanity than we had instructed. Simply because he did NOT order the vanity we had told him to just to simply buy time to misappropriate our funds. September comes around and the cabinets that were supposed to have arrived in mid-June finally arrived in September but it took him 2 weeks to just install the bottom and top cabinets and IMPROPERLY installing them. He drilled holes throughout the side, back, and through them. We finally had enough and fired this SOB and currently filed lawsuit against him. We had couple other contractors come and assess the quality of work and to finish up the job. We found out a lot of the work had to be redone since a lot of it was not done to code. DO NOT hire Erik Kauppila from 7 Elm Street, Manchester, NH or Sean T Nihan of 250 Old Westford Rd, Chelmsford, MA to do any of your work needed. These guys will lie, cheat, and swindle you of everything!! All in all, it took them 6 months and they still had only done 50% of initially agreed jobs. He doesn't come close to initial estimates...NOT EVEN CLOSE! Erik Kauppila will sucker you in with a lower price, rip apart your house and then swindle you for more money EVERY SINGLE DAY!! But if you have done business with this CROOK before, I urge you to have someone else inspect his work and also if you ever purchased a furnace from him, double check. Most likely he cheated you of your money as well. The furnaces he buys for clients are the lowest of the low. The quality is subpar and his furnaces are meant to last you about 2 years. If you go onto Yellow Pages, this is not the first time he has stole from others. Please do yourself a favor and AVOID this guy at all costs and for those who have already done business with him, stand up for yourself and go after him! Luckily I took tons of pics and plenty of evidence to prove my case and I am currently working with another house owner he screwed to get this crook off the streets as he is a predator for all.
