The crew did a great job installing the shingles, however they left nails scattered around the yard and driveway. Ended up with a nail in a tire. Also littered the grounds with cigarette butts and sugar drinks that attracted a colony of ants. Empty drink containers littered around the property.

Tom showed on time, identified the problem and quickly repaired the issue. He gave me some ideas on what to watch for in the future and an option if the problem recurs. I would consult with him on a future roofing project.

Tom and his crew did a great job on our roof shingle remove and replace. They started on time, finished in a timely fashion and gave us great value!

Very quick to respond to my request to examine the required repair work on my metal roof. They came out the following week performed the work that numerous other roofing companies wouldn't even look at. The workmanship was perfect! Always communicated with me on what was going on either by text or email. Great people to do business with.

Tom and Alicia was great to work with. Marquis Roofing repaired some leaking roof vents on my home. I would recommend them and will be contacting Tom when I need a roof replacement.

The work has not yet been scheduled. I am basing this rating on the call back (almost instant); the ability to come and assess issue when said he would, the quote, the knowledge... The work will be done next week or later...absolutely no rush. I would rather Tom and crew do the job well rather than quickly!!

Marquis Roofing was very responsive to my inquiry for service responding to me within only a hour or so of my requesting service via HomeAdvisor. I had a difficult to diagnose roof leak that other roofers had either failed to find or just not desired to spend the time to find. Tom did some investigation and thought it may require a significant amount of removing of both siding and shingles from a large area to find the culprit. He quoted me based on that expectation and then said that he would get it into his schedule in the next couple of weeks. Tom stayed true to that and came out about 1 1/2 weeks later to work on the job. He and another roofer spent about 1 hour looking for the source of the leak and found it lower on the roof that expected. Therefore, they did not have to remove as much material as originally anticipated. Tom left his other roofer at my house who then spent a few more hours repairing the leaking area. In the end, they cleaned the work area fairly well (a few pieces of debris/nails were found) and were overall very professional. The roofer also noticed a couple of missing shingles on the roof, above the area where they were working, and replaced them as well even though they were not in the original work order. This was a nice additional service. On the flip side, my only complaint would be that I was still billed for the full amount quoted even though it seemed that the work was less than anticipated. It was basically one worker for about 5-6 hours, some ice/water shield and a bundle of shingles. An agreed to price is an agreed to price, and I would use Marquis again, but it would have been nice for some amount of discount from the original quote since it seemed that less work was performed than originally anticipated. Therefore, I pulled a couple of stars from value for money.

UPDATE: Tom reached out to me after posting the review and he came to look at the repair work that was done. He accepted that the work was not done as quoted and promised to come back and fix it. He came the very next day and fixed all the issues that were pointed out by us. Appreciate their quick turn around after review but would have been ideal if the work was done the right way first time. Would definitely give them another chance in case any other work is required on the roof. PREVIOUS REVIEW: They ripped me off and they'll do the same to you if you are not careful. They reached out to me after I shared my contact through HomeAdvisor. Their owner (as claimed by the sales rep who reached out to me) came for an estimate. There were couple of shingles which had fallen from my roof. He looked at it and said he'll get new ones and fix them up. He also pointed out to a bulge on my roof saying that looks like swollen plywood under the shingles. He promised to fix the swollen plywood and put shingles up there and provided me a quote for the same. The quote was on higher end but it was more because they had to fix the bulge. He said he can't do it that day and would come the next day to complete the work. As we had plans for the next day I trusted them based on HomeAdvisor's reviews and paid him up front (big mistake). When we returned the next day we were shocked to see the fallen shingles missing and it seems they had put those shingles back up. The bulge is still there but it seems they put some tar on the shingles and sealed them. I called him and he said everything has been completed. I even pointed out that the bulge is still there and he repeated the same "Everything has been completed" sentence. I feel cheated and would never hire them again. I would probably never trust HomeAdvisor's review for any other contractor as well. UPDATE: They came back and fixed the issues reported in the above review and thus have updated the ratings. Would definitely give them another chance.

They were quick to respond to my inquiry, they came in person to review the job rather than via email pictures or house dimensions as the two other companies referred to me and had the job done by the next week.

Marquis Roofing showed up exactly on time and on the same day as requested. They were very polite and straight forward. I needed to have a shingle replaced that had blown off the highest peak of my roof in a recent storm. He replaced the shingle on the spot and for a very reasonable price. It was a very high location and a windy day. Very happy that they came so quickly and fixed the problem for me right away! Highly recommend.

Called and followed up as he said he would. Gave me options to my repair and fixed my problem at the time of his first visit. I would highly recommend Marquis Roofing.
