It went well, they have me insightful solutions for the water issue. Realizing it was only humidity and recommended a high quality humidifier with drain which has worked beautifully.

I'm sure they offer a good product and their sales staff certainly believe in it or seem to at least. The cost of using their lower end product was twice what it was going to cost to finish it in a traditional manner with a contractor and over 4 times as much as it's costing us to do it ourselves. They were very professional and always followed up when I had questions. If I had the money I would have used them, but it's just not in our budget.

Fine, but I have decided to go with another provider.

It was easy to schedule and appointment for an estimate to finish our basement. It is a big basement and we want to build an office and a full bathroom plus play area and man's cove. Ray came to talk to us at our house. He is very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable person. We also got two other estimates from other companies we found on Angie's List. We decided to hire RESCON to finish our basement because we loved the reviews on AL and we liked the service they offer. They use nonorganic material and there are no issues related to mold and smell. The price sounded right too. It was a little below the other quotes after they applied a 10% discount from AL and and additional 2% promotion that was going on in June. Plus they offer a life time warranty. After we hired them, we had two other meetings, one to determine the plant of our new basement and another with the construction manager. We will meet again to decide the details and material and the work will start at some point in November.

Workers were prompt and efficient and any questions were fully answered.

All went smoothly. We did have a small leak under the door afterward, and Rescon sent someone out to strenghten the hydraulic plugs to redirect water, and did so in a timely manner. The price overall was better than we expected.

This is still work in progress but so far I'm very satisfied. I will be editing my review when job is completed. So far, this company is one of the best home improvement contractors I've ever dealt with. Very professional from the sales person, the manager(owner) to the actual crew that is working in my house. Any issues that come up are resolved quickly and professionally. They started when they said they would. It is taking longer than promised but I kind of expected that. Hopefully it wont be too long. They are not cheap but, compared tom other basement finishing companies, they are reasonable and so far have been very reliable. I decided to update my review upon completion of this job. Though I left the overall rating without changes, unfortunately, we ran into many issues near completion. Because of the structure of payments in contract the job was 90% paid for after rough framing inspection when the most important finishing parts were not even started yet. Mind it that the company had my initial deposit of 30% for three moths before the job even started. After 90% was paid I felt that the company started losing interest in finishing my job. People would not show up, would not even call to let me know that they were not coming. Then they would show up for a couple of ours and leave claiming that the job was all done when, in reality, there were many things that needed to be fixed and that they hoped I would not notice. Overall it took three months instead of promised three weeks and last couple of weeks were like pulling teeth. Not only the delay caused me and my family a major inconvenience but I felt that the company (after getting almost completely paid) stopped dealing with me as a valued and reasonable customer. I was repeatedly told that I "got a very good deal", that they were swamped with jobs, could not find good employees and were booking jobs six months in advance. I was glad that they were expanding but this made my life more difficult. There were many other things such as materials different from listed in contract used without even telling me, etc. Getting the warranty documents was also a hassle which to me is not a good sign. Again, the basement looks good, hence the overall "A" grade but, honestly, I do not think I would hire them again.

Looking for sub floor to put under new hardwood in a bedroom. House is on a slab and we were having moisture issues. Installation went great. Company was prompt and professional. Have bad no moisture problems since.

They came over and provided a quote for the service they were supposed to do for me. My impression for them is that they are very good. Overall, I am grading them an A

If I could give Rescon better than an "A" rating for the work they did, I would. They were prompt, efficient, true to their word, and performed high quality work. They emailed, or called back, within a day every time we contacted them. They showed up on time every time they came out to the house, and the work took less time to complete than they estimated. Even though we changed our minds about a couple details at the last minute. They were able to accommodate our last minute requests with flexibility and accuracy. If you are thinking about doing anything in your basement, I would highly recommend Rescon. Our basement looks, and feels a thousand times better!

Rescon did a great job. They were able to schedule the repair within a few days after I contacted them for information. The person who did the repair was courteous and professional, and the finished repair has resolved the water seepage issue. The majority of the repair work was done from inside the basement, which did necessitate removing a section of drywall from the finished basement walls, but that was a small inconvenience compared to water seeping into the carpeted floor area. I would certainly hire them again for a similar repair job.

Prompt and courteous service- they evaluated our sump pump, and pointed out some areas that needed work. We got an estimate for the work and will go ahead with their services.

Axel and his team arrived on time; he walked me through the scope of work that was going to take place and the timeline. The work was completed as promised. They left the work area clean. Before leaving Axel reviewed the operation of the dehumidifier, sump pump and the drain on the outside of the house. He also went over the warranty coverage. I was impressed with the work they did and I no longer worry about water in my basement and the moisture level.

Ray was very good about calling to make me aware exactly when he would be arriving, which was conveniently (for me) after 5 PM. I showed him our basement space and we discussed various options. He was very open to exploring different ideas and scopes of work. After agreeing on what scope we might be interested in, he spent about half an hour in the basement taking measurements and coming up with a quote. He then talked my wife and me through the quote, explaining the technology the company uses, why, and how it would be installed. Ray showed us lots of examples of similar work they have done. He was very thorough and thoughtful in answering our many questions. He sent me a quote via email early the next morning. There was never a hint of a hard sell...just good information to help us make our decision. In the end, we decided to not move forward at this time. Ray and Rescon were fabulous and I have no doubt that there system would be great...we are going with a lower cost (and much less finished) solution at this time, as our basement is really just going to be a rumpus room for our children. When/if we decide to make it a more formal space, we will not hesitate to call Rescon again.

Although we had two other alternatives to Rescon for the work, we were most impressed with the professionalism of Rescon's representatives and office staff. That is why we chose Rescon and our expectations were entirely fulfilled, which is why we decided to stay with them for a five-year service contract. Their workmen were prompt, professional, clearly explained what they were doing, the office representative was friendly and efficient, sending out bills and receipts as attachments to emails, as we had requested, and the work was neat and complete and has solved the original problem. I would enthusiastically recommend this company.

Today is the final day of our basement refinishing project with RESCON and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience! From our initial request for an estimate, through to the finish, Rescon has been, by far, the best company we have worked with in our 34 years of home ownership! Ray was very professional and took the time to answer any questions we had. We had our quote by the end of the same day. The project was started as promised and everything went very smoothly. We had to ask for a few adjustments to the scope of the job due to an additional project we were doing and RESCON was very accommodating. The entire project worked out beautifully! Very impressed with the attention and professionalism provided by Rescon. Met with Ray, who came out to the house and walked us through the whole process and showed us our options for setting up an interior drain in the basement. He did not talk down to us or talk too quickly, but was very patient with all our questions. When he sent us the initial estimate and we wanted to take a few items off, Rescon was immediately accommodating without any kind of "hard sell" approach. Rescon was also very accommodating with our schedule, working around our needs to have the basement finished before a hard deadline for a new boiler install. When it came time for the work to be done, there was a minor problem with the work hours -- I think on the initial day, the workers showed up late (due to traffic) and then had to leave early (again on the second day), so we were worried the work would not be done in time. This ended up not mattering, as the workers finished in plenty of time. On the first day, Ray showed up with Axel and the other workers to walk us through the process again and address any additional questions we had. When all the work was done, they left the basement in better condition than they found it. Spotlessly clean floors and very minimal dust on the few plastic-covered items we left in the basement. The cement they used did not match what was already there (but it's an old house) so that looks a little odd, but the MOST IMPORTANT point is that WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY WATER whatsoever in the basement since the work was done, and there have been a few heavy rainstorms since that time. We had some really minor cracks show up in their cement a few months later, and although we were assured this was natural settling and was not affecting the drainage (which it wasn't), Ray sent someone out immediately to patch them up. Overall, extremely pleased with Rescon and the work they did and would recommend them to anyone. Ray is a terrific guy.

Axel and the crew showed up on-time and got right to work. The supervisor,Bob, came out and walked the job with me to assure we were clear on the scope of work. The men took 3 days as promised and stayed the final day until 6 to finish. They left the basement broom clean every night and didn't even damage the grass...putting tarps down to walk on. The work was done exactly as promised. In fact, they actually re plumbed part of the sump drain line which was not specified because they didn't like the way it had been run by them some years before. Axel took great pride in the final walk through and made sure I was satisfied also. He made a point of not only covering the warranty but making it clear we should not hesitate to call them anytime with any issues.

Overall we were extremely happy with all services Rescon has provided for us, mainly the basement finishing. With the basement refinishing they were patient with us as we worked on floor plan to maximize our space as we were working with oil tank, boiler, electricity panels, plumbing, and the few extras we asked them to take care of of (shelving in laundry room, finishing in coat closet, and installation of new slop sink). The crew working in the house were respectful and attentive to our questions/"asks" we had along the way. The crew showed up on time, worked throughout the day and always cleaned up at the close of the work day. One other item I was impressed with was the quality of the materials used. I was unsure of how the "non" wood molding, doors, baseboards would look along with the special walls and flooring used. In looking at the room you would never think all detail work was not wood along with the doors. So not only do we have a basement which looks great, but is protected from any type of moisture issues. Rescon was a pleasure to work with, the entire team from the sales to the crew were professional, responsive, and trustworthy we would highly recommend them for all things related to a basement, they are specialists in their field and it comes through in their work.

Unable to provide the type of service I needed, but referred me to someone who could.

My name is Kim, I just moved to New Hampshire from Texas. I did not anyone to recommend to me who can do the job of remodeling my basement so I went on Angies list. This is where I found Rescon. I called them explaining what I wanted. They sent a representative to my house. His name is Ray. I have dealt with contractors in the past and it was nothing but aggravation and hidden costs. Ray arrived at my house and listened to everything I was wanting for the basement. My basement was dingy and dark. I had no walls and the where the ceilings where suppose to be was nothing but installation hanging down. After talking with Ray I felt like this is the company to go with. About a week later Ray came back to my house with a blue print of what I wanted. It was exactly what I pictured. He then showed my different samples of flooring, walls and ceilings. I even had a very ugly pole right in the middle of the basement. Well now that poll looks like a beautiful column. They put a molding around it to look like that. It looks like they built it right in. I picked out what I wanted and what I liked about Ray was he didn't try and sell me more expensive things. He said it was my basement and we will do what I wanted. He gave me a date when they could start. I kept thinking they will not start when they say because of my experience in the past with other contractors. I was wrong. They started exactly when they told me. There was two contractors that showed up. thBoth their names where Tim. They are the nicest men. Everyday they showed up on time. They worked from the time they got here right up till it was time for them to go home. Everyday before they left they called me downstairs to show me the work they had done that day. They also explained to me what their plan was for the next day. They never missed a day. They cleaned up everyday before they left. I wasn't used to contractors doing that. What a pleasant experience. Never once did they bother me while they were down in my basement. Tim & Tim gave me the impression they were doing the work as if it was their basement. Exactly how I wanted it. To my surprise they even got the plumber and the election here right on time. I telling you this is an excellent company. They told me when it would be all be done and of course I was skeptical. Low and behold my basement was done exactly when they told me. I am so impressed. There were certain things I wanted to have done and when ey were done Tim & Tim showed me how to work it. Loved that. I live alone so I needed to know how to work it. They used my garage as a work shop and when the job was done everything was cleaned up.I am having new windows put in my house and I am definitely using Rescon. There are other things I want done to my house like new counter tops and new tops for the vanities in my bathrooms and you bet I will be calling Rescon. Please I can not express enough that anything you need done to your house I highly recommend Rescon. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. When I was handed the final bill it was exactly what they told me it would be. NO hidden fees. The thing I really like about Rescon is the materials they use. Not sheet rock. My basement is water proof, mold proof and sound proof. The basement was done for my grandkids game room so they made sure everything was safe. I was even getting emails from the main office making use everything was to my satisfaction. You will not find another company to beat there price and quality of work. Rescon installed the grate drain, new sump pump, etc., in December 2011 but had to come back and extend the drain in June 2012. We were told when the original work was done that there was a possibility that the grate drain would need to be extended. Bob Brewster, the Rescon Project Manager, was wonderful. He explained what they would be doing and was very patient with the numerous questions asked by our condo association. The men who actually installed the grate drain were very professional and diligent and cleaned up the work area before leaving. The grate drain is working exactly the way we were told it would.

They were efficient , explained their service. Came on time, finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. They charged what they said they would charge and nothing more.

Very responsive. The office coordinated the schedule and they arrived ontime. Cleaned out old insulation and enclosed 20' X 14' crawl space. The space is now clean and good for storage. Also installed a large dehumidifier which has completely removed the humidity from the basement.

They were responsive. The price was in line with all the other companies. They gave a detailed description of the job. It was a fair price on the quote.
