Description of Work: They came out for my free estimate for a hole in my foundation. They were punctual and polite. Due to the recent passing of my mother, father and husband my house is overflowing also old and in disrepair as I cared for all of them in their and our home as they passed over the years. My basement, which is not cluttered, is where the hole in the foundation is located and has a dirt floor with a poured cement foundation. However, he never got to see that room in the basement. We got as far as the main part of the basement which is also a dirt floor but has field stone walls and and he told me they were not able to help me. My question is, having never seen what I needed repaired, how would you know you could not help me?

I did take the time to review the design and the itemized estimate we provided. In order to fully finish 526 square feet of basement space, using products designed for a basement environment, the proposed price is accurate and falls well within industry averages for basement remodeling projects of that size. I do understand that there are smaller, independent, contractors that are able to provide services at lower prices for various reasons. Rescon is a fully licensed and insured company, with an 18 year history of delivering quality projects. We have a full time staff of employees dedicated to working with our clients on their projects. The products and services provided by Rescon are specifically designed to provide superior service and quality for clients looking to make improvements to the basement. The basement environment is a very unique space and we have worked hard to put together a basement finishing system that will perform in that environment. Description of Work: Bob Brewster provided an estimate that matched the problem, not an over engineered system. The crew arrived on time and worked thru the day. They were not able to finish because they his some ledge but came back the next day (Saturday) to complete the job. Reviewed the installation with me and left the area clean. I am very satisfied.

Description of Work: The gentleman came to our home for an estimate on resolving a couple leaks. The price he quoted me was very high. On top of that Rescon doesn't actually open up the plastered wall to repair but asks that you hire someone else to do it. The contractor that came to the house (Angie's List A+) to look at opening our wall totally disagreed with what Rescon said and thought the real problem was with the placement of the gutters in that area. I am not happy about having paid $50 for an estimate and then not getting anything for it. Usually estimates are free and I feel that I received the wrong advice.
