I have had Garside for several years , I have to say i was skeptic at first as the last place i used wasn't honest and definitely took advantage of my being a single gal first time home owner . So i suspected they might all be the same ? Not Garside this guy came to my house said this system is old and needs this and this , i did some research and sure enough that is what was recommended ,he did it at a very fair price , on time ,working w my crazy sched i work 60 hours a week and do domestic n wildlife rescue . I had no alarm system on the septic system as it had broken in and out of tank years ago . I now have sweet looking covers instead of hunks of concrete in 2 places and a very nice looking alarm box. Well he then became my reg pumping guy , recently my alarm went off and it went off when i had contractors her e doing attic n wall insulation so i thought please god you know i cant do this right now . I called the office on the weekend and a nice { not bothered } lady said do this and this if it doesnt go off called Keiths cell so again the skeptic i figure i call him and he says ok have to charge a weekend charge but no he says go back to watching your grandsons basketball game and call me later , i did ,he says no worries it wont over flow ,ill be out there first thing mon !! He shows up mon and im scared thinking i just hd this pumped the spring of 2019 , he says we'll figure it out dont worry opens tank says look perfect !! I say its full ? Keith says no its right were it suppose to be ! He could have easily gotten away with pumping it since he brought the big stool bus w him . So if your looking for a good honest guy w a family business , he brought his dad the first time he came ! call Garside Septic !! p.s i have a 181 pound dog and a handful of other rescues and he wa snt a dick like some guys are my dogs loved him ! And you know what they say about dogs.

We have been customers of Garside Septic for at least 20 years. We have our septic pumped annually. Several times during the past 20 years we've had issues (usually in winter) with a blockage at the first baffle. Garside has always been incredibly responsive and very quick to appear on-site to resolve the issue. The very first year we moved-in we had a housemember unknowingly pour turkey grease down the drain, causing a backup at the baffle, and this was on Christmas Day... Garside was there within an hour or two and has us working again. Pricing has always been very reasonable.

Keith Garside arrived promptly and performed the task quickly, efficiently and courteously. He went the extra mile and pointed out a leak under our home that caused an odor. His price was fair. His work was effective. There was no effort to up-sell or any scare tactics. He was pleasant to deal with. We feared the worst and were pleasantly surprised. Like Diogenes, we greatly value honesty (along with competence), and we found it in Keith Garside.

When they performed our septic tank service, they noticed that our cover was cracked and told us they would need to replace it and that they would call for a follow up but never did. After two weeks, we finally called them back. They apologized for forgetting and told us they would call back. They called back several days later and said it would take another week to get the cover. Two different persons called and gave us two different appointment dates. When they finally showed up, we noticed that they had replaced the cover but left the old cover and had thrown it onto one of our ornamental bushes. Several branched were damaged in the process. They basically replaced the cover and left everything as is with dirt everywhere.

Dave from Garside called the day before to confirm my appointment. They came when they told me they would arrive. The attendant was friendly and professional. He answered all my questions and did a great job.

This is one of those companies that consistently goes above and beyond! We had forgotten to schedule service for our septic system and had a house full of company coming. I called and spoke with Dave in the office and he chuckled when I explained our concerns. He told me that they were scheduling up to 2 weeks out from that date, but he would call Keith and see if they could get me in. Dave called me back right away to let me know they would be coming the next day. Keith arrived, as scheduled. We had forgotten to dig the cover out for them, but Keith just said no problem and grabbed a shovel! The entire company is made up of wonderful people that go above and beyond to give fabulous customer service. They aren't the least expensive, but knowing that I can call Dave and ask any number of questions I might have, or that Keith will figure out a way to accommodate requests... I had originally called Policy Well and Pump who tested and found the problem to be a leaking pipe between the well and house. They tentatively scheduled the work to replace the pipe for a week later.(based on my call back and approval) But they later said they would only do the work if we could get someone else to do the trenching. Also, they didn't guarantee the date. I called someone else and scheduled the trenching on Thursday. All morning I called that person who never answered the phone or responded. About 1PM I called Garside. They came right over and dug the trench. Although we hadn't planned to replace the electrical wiring to the pump, miscalculation on the existing route (mostly my fault) caused the existing wire to be broken, so we replaced the wire and conduit as well (with much better quality wire!). By 8 PM we had water again! Because I called them at 1 PM, they only got started at 1:30, so they came back the next morning to fill in the trench and clean up. (they said 9 AM and they showed up at precisely 9 AM!) We had been without water for 9 days waiting for the and quot;other guysand quot; we had called to do the job. Afraid of going another weekend without water, I then called Garside. Garside was prompt (practically immediate even!), professional, courteous, understanding, and even friendly! I would highly recommend these guys for any septic, sewer, or excavating work to anyone. They are first rate in my book.
